With a lovely greeting from Mary, we were shown out bunk house, one small room and slightly larger. There were cobwebs around but we never minded. The beds were comfortable after a 17 mile walk. The kitchen is basic we managed to cook breakfast, would not cook a meal there though. At £14 what do you want!! I just want...

I stayed at Berrow house with a group last spring, but I only feel prompted to write a review now to counteract the bad ones. You do get what you pay for - it's cheap so don't expect anything wonderful. Mary was still cleaning when I arrived ( the first to arrive out of our party) so I just got...

Friendly owners. Accommodation (Bunk house) is a little like stepping into a time warp, but that added to the fun. Don't expect pristine conditions and you'll be fine. Worked well for a group of 7. Plenty of heating so you won't get cold. There was no one else staying when we went so had free reign of the two bathrooms....

Camped here, was brilliant. Really friendly owners and nice place. Lovely scenery, felt very comforted. Crap phone service though, had to run up the road before we could get phone signal. Other than that it was brill

This review is from Paul Stephenson of Lancaster I had a most enjoyable stay for 4 nights in late September 2014. The accommodation was warm, comfortable, included a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The proprietors were helpful beyond the call of duty, all of this in the beautiful Cotswolds. I'd love to stay there again which is my intention. Thanks...

DO NOT STAY HERE. Staff were not here when they were supposed to be. We arrived and had to wait for over an hour for the owner to come and give us keys and the tour of the place even after telling us that they were definitely there all day. Rooms are mouldy and stink. There is NO heating. Outdoor...

We had booked the 4 beds in the Fold for a post-Christmas getaway with the family, but as we arrived we knew it was a mistake. No way could we have slept, cooked and eaten in there, as there was no seating area and only tiny kitchen, shower room and bunkrooms. Fortunately, the Bunkhouse was empty, and we were offered...

I was part of the reunion referred to by @aroundtheworld76 and was the first of the 3 of us to arrive. After having to call for directions due to the sat nav thinking I had arrived about 1/2 mile before I had I was greeted by the owners who could not have been more welcoming. However upon being shown the...

“Do not stay here if you are looking for something that is a step up from camping...stick to camping!”

“There is only one tip I would give. Only stay here if you are looking for basic basic and dont mind poor hygene conditions and noisey road. If the weather is fine you can sit outside at the picnic table if not you are a bit stuck.”
