In an old building such as this hotel, one can expect quirks and curiosities, but the total absence of plastic was a refreshing change! Four of us stayed here for a celebratory weekend away and certainly were not disappointed. Our three double rooms were very individual, tastefully decorated and furnished and of a very high quality. The opportunity to use...

We visited as a group of eight for a birthday celebration. We have eaten here many times as we live locally and generally I would say it has been nice but I do think it's rather over priced. On this occasion I felt I had to write a review as it was bordering on a joke. Two of our party...

As seasoned hoteliers, we listen carefully and place great value on all feedback. Our friendly team know to ask for preference on how meat is to be cooked and we apologise if this did not happen in this instance. We would never wish to cause disappointment in relation to the portion size of starter dishes and encourage you to let...

We were using the hotel as an opportunity to see if me and finance would like ledbury as a potential new home. Hotel just wasn't to our personal perferences, found room claustrophobic and shabby chic decor left us not feeling very comfortable and questioning the room price, but like I said that is our preference and if using spa I...

Thank you and we naturally accept your apology for the note left at our reception area. Whilst we have already followed up directly to express our concern over such an unusual occurrence, we are happy to transfer your booking to another time. Again, may we assure you of our very best intentions.

Popped in yesterday with a friend for lunch. Plenty of tables to chose from. Service with a smile and order quickly taken. Delicious lunch arrived. I ate the haloumi cheese, chick peas, sweet potatoes salad. My friend had the fish platter which looked lovely. The whole place looks warm and inviting with country house style decor. Toilets were tidy just...

Arranged a cream tea for a friend and was very disappointed. The selection of cakes and sandwiches (one round of sandwich each, a small scone, jam and cream and bite size mini cakes) were brought over and the tea and that was the last time we saw a waitress. No one came to see if everything was okay. No waitress...

Our traditional afternoon teas comprise of tea or coffee, sandwiches, pastries, cakes, plus scone with fresh clotted cream & jam for £12.50, which offers great value and are especially enjoyable when our warm open fires are lit. I am sorry to understand that you found difficulty in attracting the attention of our waitress or bar staff, who would never intentionally...

We have spent the last two nights of a 7 day break at the Feathers. It was by far the most expensive room of the 3 we have stayed in and by far the smallest and shabbiest. We had spent 3 nights in spacious luxury accommodation in Ludlow with top spec fixtures and fittings and 2 nights prior to that...

We have never had a poor lunch at The Feathers. This time we had a sharing fish platter from the bar menu. It was absolutely crammed with crab, anchovies and salad and the topped with huge prawns and, on the side, a very generous serving of smoked salmon. As always, service was spot on.

We stayed two nights over a weekend. The room we had was excellent and had a view over the main street. The walk-in shower was superb also. There was a posh bath too, but didn't use it. Bed was super comfy, although a bit small for me. It is a standard double, and I'm used to larger, however it was...

We were looking for somewhere to have an early morning coffee and the only place open at 8.15am was The Feathers Hotel. A large pot of coffee was very quickly provided which turned into 6 cups of delicious coffee and all for £5, Excellent, friendly service with a smile and very comfortable chairs in a beautiful old building.

We had a very special evening at the Feathers, it's an black and white building full of charm and character. We booked a table for close family who hadn't see each other in about 6 months, some of whom like to eatVegan meals. The Hotel assured me that this was not a problem. On arrival the vegans were presented with...
