Thank you to all staff for taking such good care of us all . Everyone went the extra mile to make our stay very comfortable . All 6 bedrooms were very smart, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was relaxed and food was of very good quality. ( Many Thanks from the Wainwright Party).

The Talbot is a very nice old character building. There are a few different rooms. As well as the bar there is a more formal restaurant and there appeared to be an outdoor courtyard area. It's a Wadworth pub so they had 6X & Henry's IPA. The only none-Wadworth ale was Wye Valley Butty Bach. Decent beer, but service average.... More

A pretty old world pub but a typical chain place, owned by wadworlths and so all their beers are a bit same. The food is ok but again the same as you would expect to see in a pub owned by a big brewery. That said, the locals are quite friendly and its not a bad place for a pint.

Driving round Malvern found the Talbot and had a huge chicken and leek pie with veg...really tasty and made very welcome. A nice spot. We didn't stay overnight just for food. A dog friendly hotel too.

It was just like going back in time at the Talbot Hotel..Not in terms of facilities which were up to date and ideal for our autumnal break exploring Hertfordshire. But back in time in so far as the hotel is steeped in history dating back to the Civil War. It oozes character and tradition. Location is brilliant right in the centre... More

Very accommodating with a large group. Seated in the old dining room, full of character. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely selection of meals, all prepared to a high standard, and served in a timely manner. Would defiantly choose to eat here again when back in Ledbury.

We went on Bank Holiday Monday, booking 3 rooms. 2 were in the main old building. With its uneven floors, low beams and all the creeks it was fantastic. The rooms were very large. Being an old building they were quite warm but a fan is provided and done the job. The 3rd room was in the new block at... More

Really good value. Lovely room, staff very friendly. Restaurant exceptional value for money, we stayed 3 nights and didn't eat anywhere else. Good choice at breakfast. Ideal location for town centre. The only " but" was the mattress was far too thin and you could feel the base through it, other than that a great stay and would certainly go... More

My wife and I had lunch there with a friend who was visiting from France. Two of us went with traditional English fayre - fish and chips and steak and ale pie, both served with veg and thick cut chips while the other dish was a lunch time special - a spicy chicken stir fry. Two of us went with... More
