Visited tonight for dinner and drinks with my husband. Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Menu varied and affordable. Pub welcoming and staff attentive. We'll be back! Thank you Kings Head, it's great to have 'our local' back!

We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely 15th century inn. The owner Mark was very welcoming and we were able to check in at 12.00, which was really helpful. Our room was small, due to the restrictions of being a listed building but was clean, comfortable and had all the necessities. The public bar was friendly and sociable. We had...

The broccoli and stilton soup was delicious and a generous portion size which was then followed by a perfectly cooked roast beef with all the trimmings and a treacle sponge pudding with custard. Everyone at the Kings Head are friendly and more than willing to help cater for each person...

A lovely local pub with rooms. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Mark the owner or Craig the chef. The food is excellent along with th service. This was our second visit and we will certainly visit again

Wonderful stay. Arrived late after lectures and David and his team made sure they kept space for my car on the premises and got me settled. While there was music playing in the bar it did not affect me in my room. My double room was really comfortable - the bed was comfortable and bedding was lovely. beautiful old room...

Four of us had an excellent, delicious meal last night at my local pub. The new chef is producing some really tasty, quality food at a reasonable price and I would definitely recommend it. We chatted to the chef who seems really passionate about using fresh ingredients and taking time with homemade dishes and sauces/gravy. Three of us had liver and...
