We stayed here for a wedding last summer. The accomodation is very nice and well kept but the feel of the place is far too prim and proper with no character. One of our party had a terrible migraine in the morning and could not leave at the 10:00 departure time. Asking for an extra hour to get her some...

We had a good weekend in Canterbury staying at this charming B and B. It is a easy walk from the station and into the centre of town. It is a lovely old building and we had a very pretty room, if a bit small. The shower room was a bit small but had everything we needed. The room was...

Had an excellent stay at Magnolia house, wonderfully dressed in Christmas decorations. Lovely, good sized room with fresh milk in the fridge for tea/coffee. A good hearty breakfast, and friendly owner. Excellent location too - good stuff. Highly recommended.

Very good guesthouse. Enjoyed my stay, comfortable rooms, breakfast was amazing and I felt well looked after. Can't really find any faults. Close to canterbury west station too (about 5/10 mins walk if that). Will be back!

Absolutely fabulous stay from start to finish. When we arrived after a long drive we were both pleasantly surprised to be offered drinks and biscuits in the lounge to relax with before been shown to our room, very helpful staff even helping with luggage. The room itself was wonderful everything you could imagine was there waiting from a mini fridge...

Perfectly situated in a quiet street just a block away from the city center. We experienced very helpful service, well equipped room with toiletries and snacks/drinks. The breakfast was delicious and homemade. The bed was large and comfortable. All In all a very nice experience!

I have stayed at Magnolia House at least 10 times when regularly visiting Canterbury and it never fails to please. It is way, way better to other similarly priced accommodation in the city which I have to resort if I've left it too late to book Magnolia. The house is always warm and welcoming and I really don't recognise some...

I had booked two rooms in Magnolia House for one night as my daughter was graduating on the following morning. On booking several months before, i was asked to give my exact arrival time which i thought was a little odd. I promised to let the owner know nearer the time and emailed her a couple of weeks beforehand with...

We were lucky enough to stay for the friday, and saturday nights, whilst in Canterbury for a wedding, and the owner, Isabel, could not have been more welcoming. Once allocated rooms, we adjourned to the beautiful garden to sit in the sun, before going out for a meal. The location is so close to the city centre, it was easy...

We stayed for one night this week. From the outside it looks beautiful. We were early for our room( we had to state a time for arrival) but it was ready for us . We're shown to our room , it was small for a double ,just enough room to walk around the bed, very cluttered with chintzy bits and pieces...
