Very helpful, young staff. Small room and bath/shower, but everything there in full working order. Nice meal in restaurant on my only night. Good breakfast the following morning. Good location and very close to the Marlowe theatre.

Room wasn't huge bit exactly what we wanted for the night. The location is excellent with culture at you door step, aswell as plenty of pubs and bars. Will be visiting again, and I highly recommend to all.

The room was pretty small, but we were not surprised as it was advertised as small on the website. Despite the size of the room, it had everything we needed, from the hairdryer to the kettle (+ free coffe, hot chocolate and tea), the wifi and the English breakfast were included. Perfect location at a good price.

My wife and I stayed here for one night as we were going to the Marlowe Theatre, which is opposite the hotel. We stayed in Stour room - smallish but clean. Unfortunately double bed is standard size and rather hard! Excellent pre-theatre meal in the adjoining restaurant and good breakfast the next day - with waiter service. Wi-fi is free...

We spent 4 days at this very convenient hotel. It is just behind the high street and opposite the Marlowe Theatre. We dropped our cases off and were given 24 hour vouchers at £6 each from reception to display on the dashboard, together with a map to find the car park. Although it is a few minutes drive away, it...

Breakfast very good freshly made, stayed in a small double our mistake very small and up two flights of stairs not easy when you have problems walking. Parking quite a distance away. Staff very good helpful but unable to offer a lower room. Shame could have been a very nice visit.

Just back from 1 night stay and cannot rate the hotel highly enough Booked the Marlowe room and wasn't disappointed very clean and excellent nights sleep. With breakfast included and parking overnight for £6 then this hotel is great value. Within 2 mins walk of main high street and a lovely bar and restaurant I would 100% recommend booking the...

This hotel is right in the centre of town a 10 min walk from the station. We had the family room on 2nd floor and whilst we were fine wouldn't be easy for older people to navigate. The location was perfect and the shops in the main street were varied and icluded lots if charity shops. We were also close...

I do agree with Niklas in the other post below. It's typically English, very cosy and nice. The stairs are narrow and there are many beams so you can see it's rather old. We liked the room and though our room was towards the street it was quiet. The room had breakfast included and it was served at The Dems...

Room was small but it was spotless and had everything we needed. Car park is quite a walk away. It was a shame the French restaurant was fully booked, menu looked impressive and there was live piano music. Would definitely go back there during another visit in Canterbury.
