I stayed here on a business course. Small, quiet hotel with a great view of the cathedral. Cleanliness was superb everywhere. Breakfasts were amazing. The staff cannot do enough for you and are a credit to the hotel. I would definitely visit here again.

Had a brilliant stay here back in September while visiting Canterbury. You really couldn't be in a better location, everything is walking distance which is fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and stylish with the necessary amenities. The extra touches this hotel provides are what takes it above many others - the shortbread treats and hot chocolate that came with the...

We visited for my birthday which was over the Easter break (Good Friday-Easter Monday). Our stay in the hotel was a great one, we had amazing views, lovely breakfasts and although we are not religious, to have access to the cathedral for the Easter services was an added bonus and a beautiful experience. We could not fault the hotel in...

Cozy hotel which belongs to the Church of England as far as I understand. There is a portrait of the Archbishop of Canterbury on the wall at the reception. It is located on the grounds of the Cathedral. You can save 12 pounds per head if you stay there due to free access to the Cathedral. We had guests in...

The room itself was a little small, the double bed that was booked was more like a semi-double, and the shower cubicle was quite small. The location of the hotel was great,...

My wife and I wanted a short stay in Canterbury and the Cathedral Lodge was perfect. Lovely staff, clean and tidy rooms with ensuite and the breakfast was really well presented and very tasty. We made use of some of the vouchers that the hotel offers and having access to the Cathedral grounds late in the evening when nobody was...

We arrived quite in the night, never thought that it was inside the wall of the cathedral place! You have to ask to open the medieval gate, only for this reason they conquered us. Nice hotel, pretty modern, maybe not too in line with the context medieval but it doesn't leave the impression of to be in the wrong place....

What more can you ask for.... This place is great. The room etc was spotless. The staff were great and the breakfast in the morning is superb. Nice lil touch of lil santa chocolates were cool. All in all... I can see why it's very difficult to get a vacancy in this most ever popular lodge. We shall without fail...
