I really enjoyed my stay here. The owners were very accommodating, breakfast was fantastic. I like the style of the rooms and if I ever return to Dover, I will be staying here again. The sound of the breeze and sea birds coming through the window was relaxing.

We chose this place as we wanted to stay in Dover after late arrival from the continent. The guest house has nice rooms, clean and sufficiently sized. Free parking is included (off site, but not too far), and the English breakfast was one of the best in way of variety and quality during the whole trip we made. Combined with...

A very clean room, comfortable and a very pleasant welcoming. I used this place to stay over night along a trip back to home from Italy to the north of England. I found very open and helpful owner and I really tell you this: don't have any doubt on booking this venue. PS: I don't post any picture because my...

En route to Europe and with an early start we were looking for somewhere to stay for us and our two dogs. Our room was very pretty, clean and comfortable. We found it difficult to find anywhere to eat where the dogs were welcome but we got over it by visiting a local supermarket.

Excellent. The only way to describe my stay at the Castle House Guest House. My room was clean and tidy with complimentary tea/coffee making facilities and shampoo etc. Breakfast is normally served from 07:00 but as I had to leave early the proprietor offered to serve my breakfast earlier, which suited me. Next time I’m staying in Dover this would...

This is a small guest house with a great location between Dover Castle and a number of restaurants. We stayed here for one night before a Disney cruise and would stay here again. The rooms are clean, airy and bright, and the breakfast is delicious. You can walk to Dover Castle (although it is uphill and up some steps) in...

First hint that this was not going to be pleasant...Homeless people hanging out nearby. Second hint---no foyer. We were greeted at the door and told our room was up the VERY narrow stairs (one couldn't get a mid-sized bag, let alone a full sized suitcase up those stairs!) to our room. The room---tiny by European standards, uncomfortable bed, outdated bathroom...

We needed an overnight stop before the morning ferry to Dunkirk and booked this guest house in advance. It was easy to find and there was ample on-street parking right outside. The owner, Sharon, greeted us cordially and was generally very helpful, especially in helping us decide where to have an evening meal; we had arrived early evening. As with...
