Don't be put off by the Cowboy themed restaurant and hotel. There's plenty of parking and when you enter the building it certainly has a Cowboy theme, the staff are dressed up and and very polite and helpful. Food in the restaurant is also American themed but cooked well, no complaints there from me. On to the bedroom, they are...

Just visiting for one day so we wanted somewhere to stay that wasn't too expensive but included meals. We got so much more than we expected with the Smith and Western. We loved the wild west themed restaurant and indian named rooms (we'd forgotten there were so many tribes) and friendly staff. There were even souvenirs to buy, and the...

We did not stay in the hotel, just visited the restaurant as we only had time for coffee, but were impressed with the restaurant and wished we had had the time to eat, as the food looked rather good, albeit on looking at the menu 'pricey'. We were met by a cowgirl and directed to the bar, where we were...

Great hotel clean the only criticism was for us was room very beige, had all you needed in the room and toiletries also, staff friendly, bed was comfy and we had a good nights sleep we thought we would wake early due to traffic as on a busyish road but we wasn't woken at all... Breakfast was very tasty my...

Needed somewhere to stay between Norwich and Eastbourne on business. This looked fun which it was. Upside very clean and quite quiet. Friendly helpful staff Downside only American beers in strange size glasses. Burgers steaks and ribs - but OK No air on in rooms - but fun names. Nothing really wrong but wouldn't rush back

We stayed here because of the reviews, the location and the price. The cowboy theme also intrigued and amused. The hotel is at the bottom of the town and very near The Pantiles so ideal for a bit of tourism. Ours was a stay to visit family though and we stayed just the one night. Parking is excellent and the...

I stayed here for one night after a friend's party. The hotel and rooms have a cowboy theme which makes it interesting. It is the old station hotel for the Spa Valley Railway and now next to a really big Sainsburys. That was not a problem at all, in fact it gives additional partking if the hotel is full. We...

Great room, good service and good location - walking distance to the Pantiles shopping area. Good location for bus stops to Brighton and to Tunbridge Wells. I was visiting family in the area and this was a good base for various day trips in the surrounding area.
