We hosted our Wedding Breakfast in the Havana room on NYE 2016. The hotel looked beautiful and the staff were wonderful and so many people commented on how delicious the food was. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, even going as far as to bring in a travel cot for our little girl who found the whole day a...

Purely by coincidence my husband and I (both 31) ended up in a Hotel Du Vin again for NYE this year (having stayed in the Winchester branch last year). This time we stayed the night but had our own private celebration plans so I cannot comment on the Tunbridge Wells NYE dinner and dance package. We had the most lovely...

Recently stayed at Hotel du Vin for 10 days on a trip to UK. Was impressed by efficient and friendly service from Reception, to Bar & Restaurant to Housekeeping, I especially enjoyed a very good wine list and the fact that, unlike many places, they actually had Royal HungarianTokai in the Bar. I stayed in Cottage Annex which suited me...

Great value. Dinner, bed and breakfast. Service was excellent as we're facilities. Location was ideal, just opposite the theatre and within minutes walk of the shopping district. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Wine list wasn't bad, if a little pricey for what it was. However, the Sommelier was most helpful. Car parking is free but a little hit and miss...

My wife & I had a wonderful stay at Hotel du Vin. We booked a Parking Space knowing that it would be busy at this time of the year which was a very wise move. I asked for a room on a high level with views over the Park to the rear and was given a great room on the...

I thoroughly enjoyed my sherry and port wine tasting evening with the wise and wonderful Sommelier Victor Amaro. I am looking forward to his Champagne Brunch on 4th February with an opportunity to experience the exciting and dramatic art of Sabrage.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells is set in one of the town's architectural landmarks, a Grade II-listed sandstone mansion built as a private residence in 1762. We have retained its authentic detail carefully, adding our unique touch to the 34 bedrooms with antiques and memorabilia. Guests can enjoy a game of boules, dining on the garden terrace with its wonderful views across Calverley Park, or a wander through the hotel's very own vineyard. BEDROOMS: Housed within this impressive building are 34 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites, all featuring luxurious handsprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs, DVDs and air conditioning. BISTRO: Open all week, and under the tutelage of head chef Daniel McGarey, Bistro du Vin is at the heart of our hotel, a classic, French styled, elegant and informal setting for lunch, dinner, to meet, celebrate or simply pass the time. Dine on the finest produce the Kent has to offer from local heroes such as herbs and seasonal vegetables from local nursery chef's herbs, meat from Woodlands Farm and fish from Chapman's of Sevenoaks. These are only a handful of the suppliers included within our homegrown & local philosophy. ... more   less
