A tad difficult to find, but a gorgeous drive through the Lakeland fells. A very homely warm welcome from Sheila. A pot of tea and homemade cake selection once we had settled in to our gorgeous farmhouse room. Beautiful walking routes and a great nights sleep, all topped off with a delightful Cumbrian breakfast. We loved it!

We had a really nice weekend at the High Wray Farm B/B. You will not find a nicer or more helpful owner of a B/B than Sheila who runs the establishment. The setting is quiet and secluded with a number of pubs with good food a short drive away. The breakfast was very tasty and a great start to a...

Sheila made us very welcome when we arrived with a cup of tea and a slice of delicious lemon drizzle cake. The Farm is in beautiful National Trust land with wonderful walks and the Lake a few minutes walk away. Ambleside is a 10 minute drive and the road to Coniston a great scenic journey. We highly recommend staying at...

We spent 4 nights with friends in this idyllic spot. Sheila, the hostess, is always positive and helpful; she keeps the property wonderfully. The rooms are well appointed, spotlessly clean with gorgeous views. Little touches like home made cake and a cup of tea to welcome you and tasty shortbread by the bed. Cafetiere coffee if you wish it in...

We were given tea and cakes in the lounge upon arrival which was very welcome. We could not fault this place in any...

This was my fourth stay with at the farm. We were greeted by the host Sheila Briggs and received a warm welcome with tea and cakes in the lounge in front of the log burning fire. This is just what was required after a day out in my boat on Windermere. We stayed in the twin room. The rooms are...
