Three of us stayed here in early May to do a bit of walking in and around Langdale. It's a lovely location and a good place to start a lot of walks - easy and difficult - from. This was our fifth stay. The nearest pub/restaurant is The Wainwright - about a mile south in Chapel Stile and there are...

Absolutely love this gem of a B&B. Comfy beds, cosy rooms, gorgeous breakfast. A real 'get away from it all' kind of place. Vicky is a wonderful and welcoming host who has excellent local knowledge. There is no internet or TV here but that's perfect for a really quiet break. The stunning views certainly are breathtaking.

Four of us stayed here while walking the Cumbrian Way. Rooms were great and very comfy beds, we all slept so well. Breakfast was fantastic. We asked for a sandwich for next days walk and that was made no trouble at all, two sarnies and a bag of crisps! Lovely. Amazing views out of bedroom and bathroom windows. Will definitely...

A very warm welcome every time. Very comfortable rooms with the most amazing views. Fabulous breakfasts. We couldn't ask for more. Don't expect to be able to contact the outside world. There is internet access but it's patchy. It's haven of peace and tranquility. Staying at Vicky's has become a family tradition for us. Can't wait to return. The Foxes.

Came here with friends to do the cycling sportive- Lakeland loop. Vicky has an amazing place with breathtaking views. Rooms were great, comfy. Breakfast was spot on. £30per person was a fantastic deal. 10-15 min walk to the new dungeon ghyll hotel and the same the other way into great langdale. Will definitely stay here again.

When visiting the lakes we would not stay anywhere but here. I have been going here as long as I can remember and have been welcomed warmly every time. Comfortable beds for resting legs and delicious breakfast to fuel the amazing walks the lakes have to offer!

Lovely traditional Cumbrian farmhouse with a fire in the front room to welcome you. Vikky is a great host and has lots of info about the area. It has clean and tidy rooms with stunning views of the Langdale Valley. She cooked up a large veggie breakfast for me too!

A great nights sleep in a comfortable room with an excellent full english breakfast in the morning looking out at the amazing views over the Langdale valley. Robinsons Place is a friendly family farm that dates back to the 17th century. Look out for the date carved into the wooden cupboard doors in the living room wall. We were up...

Yet again we have had a great stay at Vickys Robinsons Place in Langdale. Only one night, which is rarely available in the area. Brilliant breakfast with a great host, no frills, no en suites but views, host and £60 for two people staying great value. A great place in a great valley.

Tenanted working farm. Location to die for. One mile east of Dungeon Ghyll with just possibly the best dawn view of the Langdale Pikes on the planet. Absolutely basic, with communal bathroom. Towels "thin" to say the least, but bedrooms and dining room spotless, beds and bedding superb with cosy duvets and eiderdowns, dining room well set out, and "The...
