Stayed just the one night and ate in their pub/restaurant. Everthing spot on. Clean room with recent redecoration. The only fault I noted was some mould on shower tiling/sealant but I bet you have that at home! Please note they don't do breakfast probably as they only have three rooms to let.

We stopped here to try a lunch. Friendly staff, clean place, meals ok could have been hotter. Not keen on presentation, coleslaw served in a paper container like mcdonalds ketchup.Room for improvement.

This is a little gem of a place we found by accident. The rooms are nice, clean and modern with comfy beds. There is currently no breakfast which doesn't bother us as we don't like early breakfasts! All the staff are superb and are very friendly. We have since become regulars and always have an enjoyable stay. The evening meals...

The food is amazing but the service was terrible. Lots of things forgotten from our starters including 2 children's meals (entertaining 2 young boys when your trying to eat your starter is not a great start) when we got the food it was really nice. We finished our main and the kids were so excited about their ice cream but...

I know that sounds stupid but when you are so full that you cannot think, then it's true. There are a lot of restaurants in Cumbria who think that a HUGE plateful is the way to go. My partners cod fillet was overhanging the sides of a very big plate and the rest was taken up with enormous amounts of...

Had a really pleasant lunch - was very good value for money and excellent taste - also a varied menu - the service was very good and the landlord very pleasant indeed. It was the first time I have visited this restaurant but will definately eat there again. Surrondings were very clean and tidy.

Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Staff very friendly. The inn is beautiful and the bedrooms are very comfortable and CLEAN. We really enjoyed our meal and found the location ideal for exploring the Lakes and the Solway Coast. We'll be back!
