What a little gem. Good value clean B&B that has the added bonus of being a pub that serves food which by the way is excellent. Stayed here last night as part of a little trip to the lakes and enjoyed a great night with live entertainment thrown in for free. Staff were fabulous and service was excellent.

This is a good country pub set in a great location. They serve a good range of beers and the food is good. Food is proxy but you get what you pay for. Good for a meal on the way back from Tarn Hows...

Had a lovely relaxing break at outgate inn. Craig and Katherine brilliant hosts. Breakfast fills you for the day and extremely tasty. Tea time specials are well worth the money and presentations was fantastic. Only problem room 2 has a very noisy bed LOL. Would definitely go back. If you like walking then take walking shoes as it's a long...

With it being rather busy in the lakes during the Easter break and being a large family group we had to book a table for Easter Sunday lunch a few months in advance. Arriving at our booking time we were quickly and swiftly shown to our table. Service at the bar was quick and easy. Our waitress was excellent, giving...

Booked a table as gets very busy and weren't disappointed. Three of us enjoyed the homemade steak pie and chips with real veg (not frozen) and it was a very good size portion. The other had the veggie burger which was delicious and had flavour. Dog friendly and homely feeling, it was great to return a year later and still...

Stayed for two nights B&B with our dog. We were made very welcome upon arrival and shown to our room which was spotlessly clean, not overly large but had an en suite with a shower, Sky TV, wireless, tea & coffee facilities and a really comfortable bed, what more do you need? The pub was also very friendly, popular with...

Stayed two nights bed and breakfast and we ate here in the evening. The staff and owners were very welcoming and friendly. Our ensuite room was at the front of the building and was clean, warm and cosy. An excellent Outgate Inn breakfast was served in the bar area. There are only three letting rooms so it wasn't busy. Open...

My family and I enjoyed a lovely home cooked meal in March. Real fire makes it really cozy and staff were welcoming. Steak pie and home cooked chips were delicious as was the trio of sausage and mash.
