My visit to the Days Inn at Kendal, was an ultra brief one night stay due solely for business reasons which probably accounts for much of it's footfall. Let's enjoy a little brevity here and get straight to the important stuff. The good points... Nathalie on reception was…
Not for everyone, but was fine for me. Big spacious room, comfy bed, hot water and nice bath, shower was ok too. Little dated but fine. The towel rail didn't get warm, nice big kettle, friendly welcome, shame only McDs and Costa for food on motorway services .nice lake view.
Pleasantly situated on Killington Lake, the rooms and hotel were clean and comfortable and provided everything I needed for a few hours sleep. Sadly only MacDonalds stayed open 24 hours - not my favourite food.
Budget hotel, comfy bed and the motorway noise was only very slight. You can't expect too much from a hotel at these prices. If you want luxury you need to pay more. There was lots of hot water and big nice towels.
staff are fab here, but there is no facilities for a breakfast unless you love mcdonalds, food is a trip to kendal at Witherspoons or other small towns villages.the bathrooms are bad and beds too .very sad to work away and not be comfortablethe price we paid was ok but would look…
"Try and get a room facing the Lake, you'll awake smiling simply because of the beauty of it all."
"My room, looking onto the Lake was very pleasant"
"If their all the same as the one I had, choose another hotel."
"Go to another hotel/Inn/B& B"
"Ask for a lake-view room if available. Most scenic."
