This was our first visit to the hotel & I feel that it would be unfair to criticise it as the hotel is undergoing a massive refurbishment. The staff were very good & we were delighted with the evening meal which we both thought was excellent. The room we were in was dated but clean, I think you should give...

On arriving to Stonecross Manor, I was unhappy with the outside of the building, entering, it looked lovely, our room was OK ( we know it's been redecorated in the nxt few months) il leave the decor, the room was freezing, resulting in me having to wear my dressing gown over my clothes just to keep warm, I was truly...

Great weekend stay in Stonecross Manor, hotel and pool were clean, breakfast great and hotel staff friendly and helpful throughout (especially Barbara, who went out of her way to help with taxi and restaurant bookings)

Upon arrival reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious but bathroom tired. Ate in the restaurant first night; food ok but nothing special, staff slow and lacked training, so didn't bother again for evening meal. Breakfast everything was running out ...had to ask to glasses for juice, hot buffet almost empty seemed disorganised, £10 pp very over priced. Bed...

We had a Groupon deal which made our overnight stay great value. The staff were very welcoming on arrival. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, bathroom and bedroom were a little dated, but I believe that the whole hotel is in line for a facelift this year. We used the spa in the afternoon and again everything was very...

Stayed for a 2 night as we had a family party to attend in Kendal so made a stay of it. Chose Stonecross Manor as looked traditional and quiet which is what we wanted and is close to the town. The hotel exceeded all expectations and more. First impressions good, clean and tidy and ample car parking. The welcome was...

We booked this through a groupon deal. The food was really nice and great portion sizes. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were all that worked on our arrival but it was a quiet time so we had it to ourselves. The hotel itself needs a little revamp as is quite worn and dated in places. The room was spacious and...

A one night stay here and wasn't disappointed. A lovely character hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the room large and comfortable. Make sure you request a four poster room! Ours was lovely. Food in the restaurant was good and a lovely plated breakfast the following morning topped off a great stay. The hotel is tired in places but...

I bought a group on voucher as Christmas, For myself and fiancé. On booking the nights stay my partner (while explaining that we had a voucher) was rudely interrupted and informed that "they are fully booked". He then asked how we could get our money back and was told to go back to group on. If this is a representation...
