The hostel is full of period character, clean and comfortable and is conveniently situated in Kendal town centre. We would very much...

The hostel offers a basic, clean, safe and friendly place to stay in the centre of Kendal. I booked a twin room for myself and used the kitchen to make meals each day. Different people came and went and the staff are friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers are clean and there were enough for the number of people...

Only stayed for the one night and was a convenient place to stay being in the town centre. Guess I have moved on a bit from my old travelling days and prefer a bit more luxury now but it was perfectly nice for our short stay.

Kendal hostel is always my first choice when making a solo trip to the area. The staff are warm welcoming and nothing is ever too much. i normally stay in the female dorms and the beds are comfy, always tidy and the hostel is very well maintained. The location is perfect, with you being on the brewery art centre site...

Thankyou That is very nice especially after discovering the hostel made a loss last year mainly due to the damage done to tourism by Storm Desmond. Very grateful

Really nice communal area with a real fireplace, and free pool! We hardly spent time in the hostel, but it's a hugely welcoming place with large kitchen and very clean rooms. Loved it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
