Just had a short break here, website states a 2 star, well ignore that, it's certainly a three at the very least, staff are great, room was fantastic, food was brilliant, the views are amazing and we will stay there why. You pay 2 star money for a three, borderline 4 star. The only criticism I could give is the...

We called in after a long days walk and had a good appetite. Not disappointed with the fresh prepared food and the dog friendliness. Can recommend the fish pie and boeuf bourgignon - reasonable prices.

My partner and I first found the Mary Mount Hotel in summer 2015. We'd been on a long walk and found this place on our way back to the car. Being famished, we stayed for lunch and were so taken with the cosiness of the restaurant, the bird feeders outside and the beauty of the location that we said we'd...

Visit was supposed to be overnight but due to severe weather we stayed 2 and the staff were so obliging as usual letting us make the choice of extending our visit depending on weather on the day first class service as always in a first class hotel

My partner and I first came to know of the Mary Mount back in the summer, having called in for their famous tea and scones. We were impressed with the communal facilities and location and vowed to come and stay sometime. Little did we know that eight months later, baby on the way, we would be in the area looking...

Comfortable, clean, quiet. Great room and good food. Took dog and accommodation is dog friendly. Nice lounge with great lake views. 2.5 miles to Keswick and right on lake for scenic walks. Only downside is part of route back from Keswick is on road with no footpath but that's not the hotels fault!

Fantastic hotel in a great location. We stayed in a modern, spacious annex bedroom (35) with views all around. The restaurant was very modern with great food, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. It was a lovely stay and would definitely visit again!
