Well situated looking over Hope Park and Derwent water, the Highfield Hotel is perfectly situated to have teas and coffees overlooking a great view. Also you can walk around the lake or up some of the nearby mountains without taking your car. There is a car park around the back and you can easily walk into town for something to...

Just returned from a two night stay and cannot praise this hotel enough. It is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you and the food is of the highest quality. It looks as if it may have been recently redecorated and refurbished. Its bright with no marks on the walls or carpets and the furniture...

Great place to stay in Keswick. Go for room 9 in the eaves and you get stunning views out over the lake to scafell pike. Lovely restaurant as well (see dedicated restaurant reviews) Highly recommended for a stay in the northern lakes. Really good value packages for weekend stays.

Breakfast was good, especially enjoyable with a view onto Catbells, and the staff are very pleasant. I'd definitely stay here again. Recommended for single female travellers who may sometimes feel awkward on their...

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The room we had room 9 was warm and comfortable and had a good old fashion charm about it. The tea/coffee facilities were well stock...

This was a lovely hotel in a fantastic central location. The centre of town was within 5 minutes walk and they also have private off street parking behind the hotel. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. Ideal for a base in the lake district!
