This is a special place to stay. We had read all the reviews before we went, and it turned out to be as great as everyone says. A very warm welcome, good parking, excellent breakfasts, it all made us happy to be there. It was our first visit, and we will return again, because the care and comfort of visitors...

Just come back from a weekend walking break in the Lakes, stayed in a guesthouse for a change, usually we stay in a hotel in Bowness, but fancied a change - Keswick. Tried all the hotel websites but no luck for accomodation in Keswick, then I saw the web site for Stonegarth, and booked two nights, through the tourist board,...

This guest house is on a road not far from the town centre. There are several other guest houses on the same road. Off-road parking is provided by the side of the guest-house. Outside it is smart, but perhaps unremarkable looking. Personally I think a few more flowers, hanging baskets etc could help - as the local stone that the...

Have just returned from our 3rd stay at Stonegarth and as always Stephen and Di made our trip one to remember. Extremely friendly with a lovely room and great Lakeland breakfast! Slept so well after our fell walks in the hugely comfortable bed. Have booked our next visit already. Thanks again from Gayle and Campbell.

We had a lovely weekend in Keswick staying at the Stonegarth. This is always our 1st choice for B&B and it never fails to disappoint. Comfy bed, spotlessly clean room, handy fridge, car park. Stephen and Diane are always welcoming. The breakfast reminds you of how food should taste. The only problem is that by writing this review it may...

This B&B was EXCELLENT. The room was very comfortable, lovely decor and a wonderfully comfy bed :-) Breakfast was great - on regular occurrences my husband and I asked for something that wasn't on the menu and we weren't disappointed! The hosts were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The B&B is in a excellent location too...

My husband and I had two wonderful nights at Stonegarth during our visit to the UK. We found it to be one of the best guesthouses we have stayed in. The hosts were welcoming and all the little extras made the stay very special. Thank you Stephen and Diane, from The Jordans, in Australia.

Overall a great B&B at a great price. Location is convenient for the shops and restaurants in Keswick, only a 5 minute walk. Rooms are lovely and bed comfortable. Great selection at breakfast and the owners really go out of thier way to make you feel at home. One tip- book directly with them, it works out cheaper!!
