My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights for a photography weekend. We where greeted to a warm welcome from Margaret who lead us up to the 1st floor and into room no.2. What a lovely room, this was a family room with 1 double bed and 1 single, situated right at the front of the house above the...

Super friendly hosts at this B&B along with delicious made-to-order English breakfast with large portion size. Rooms and linens very clean, bed comfortable, free wi-fi. Breakfast is only available from 0815-0900 so don't sleep in. Can walk to main area of town in 5 minutes. Took only public transportation to get here from London so can't speak to the parking...

We have been coming to Cherry trees for over 10 years and love it here. The food is great - well cooked, an enormous choice and extras like fruit, yoghurt, specialist teas are all available in the dining room. Rooms are all comfortable and to a high standard of decoration and cleanliness. Margaret and Jim are perfect hosts, making everyone...

Great cooked breakfasts. Only negative I would state is the matress was a touch lumpy. We have a memory foam...

A warm welcome awaited us at this guest house, Margaret and Jim were no fuss hosts who looked after us well. only a short walk from town, and although there was no specific parking, we didn't struggle to find one and Jim offered to carry the luggage for us. The decor in the room was so fresh we had to...

My partner and I had a lovely weekend staying at the Cherry Trees Guest house - Jim and Margaret were so welcoming and kind, and the room was exceptionally clean, warm, and up to a very high standard. The breakfast was great and set us up for a long day of walking.

As longstanding Lake District visitors we first came to Cherry Trees on a walking weekend 15 years ago and have been coming back ever since. We can confirm it has been excellent every time. Clean, friendly, relaxed, and a very good breakfast including a vegetarian option.

The accommodation was very clean with everything you wanted in your room and only 5 minutes walk into town centre.
