If you want any peace ask for any room other than 3. Nice food but constant bass from bar below. Staff tried to be helpful but said music had to be on because it is a bar. When I asked for it to be turned down even for a short time they said it wasn't possible even though only one...

Went for tapas on a Saturday night with three friends. We had to clear a table of glasses and plates ourselves to sit on it, Meals came out with huge delays, no cutlery until we asked. Food was good though on the plus side. Was told abruptly we couldn't split the bill 4 ways which was annoying. English was a...

We stayed in Room 3 for 3 nights- at the back of the building - very smart & clean, bit on the small size but okay for a short break. Great shower. All of the staff we met were very pleasant, helpful & efficient - especially the the young blonde lady who served us breakfast both mornings - sorry -...

Only popped in for a quick drink, before moving on elsewhere for a Christmas meal. The place looked nice and clean, it was only about 6pm, so pretty quiet, the staff were friendly. Not sure it the prices were dear, or just the normal for Keswick.

We just called in as they always have hot gluckwein in December. We were there for the Victorian Market (which was a bit disappointing) The drink was £4.50 each which was a bit expensive. It had a very strong cinnamon taste which put my wife off it. The place itself is comfortable with a blazing fire. The staff are friendly....

I stayed at this bar a few years ago and enjoyed my stay therefore I was looking forward to staying again for one night with friends. First of all the rooms were spotless and are pleasantly decorated, ideal for a short stay in the village (...however a biscuit and welcome pack may have 'added' an extra touch, as you tend...

We stayed last spring... but just got around to writing this review ! the place is small and gorgeous! Rooms cosy and clean. Beds comfortable. We'd had a horrible journey during which our car blew up! A nice glass of wine down in the bar before we got ready for dinner. We walked around keswick and found somewhere to eat....

We had dinner at the tapas bar, and our waitress a small brunette was quite unfriendly (the other staff were nice enough). We were told by the person who recommended the bar to us they do good cocktails, but we couldn't find a cocktail menu anywhere. We ordered tapas, which were really nice, although you have to pay immediately so...

My sister and stayed for one night recently, but wish it had been longer! The staff were lovely and friendly, and our room was beautiful. Very quaint, with a large bay window where we sat and drank wine on the evening ;) The room was very clean with modern shower facilities, and although we did not have time for breakfast,...

M and I were meeting J and D for a fleeting visit to Keswick and had struggled to find any accommodation which was available for only one night at a weekend - lots of places are (understandably) only bookable for a minimum of two nights. Café Bar 26 came up trumps though, and we were able to book two rooms...
