A very good B&B, very clean, nice white cotton sheets and white fluffy towels. Nice and warm and comfortable. The house itself has some nice period features and the decor suits type of house. Breakfast very nice. The parking is a bonus as the streets can get very busy around town. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go back.

We had room 3, a single and a double bed were in this en-suite room. Complimentary biscuits and chocolates were in the room each day. We had a full English breakfast every day of our eight night stay to see us through until the evening. A very clean and tidy guest house, also very pleasant owners, who provided very good... More

We booked last minute and hoped everything would be okay. Acorn house is a traditional Bed and breakfast with a lovely warm welcome. We were shown to our room, number 4 and were delighted to find a comfy four poster bed in our room. A short stroll found us in the centre of Keswick and we browsed around the market... More

We stayed here for the 5th time and still has one of the best breakfasts. Lots of off street private parking too. A good location - only 3 minutes walk fro Keswick centre. Four poster beds are in most first floor rooms - no handcuffs however. We will return.

Nice, warm greeting and help with our bags as we went to our room. Large, comfortable room with a good bathroom. We loved having parking for the car off the street. It was relaxing to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio/garden. Breakfast was tasty and quickly served. The hostess gave us some great advice for visiting Hadrian's Wall.... More

Stayed 2 nights in early September. The owners were very welcoming and showed us around right away. We had room 1 which wasn't the biggest room but did have an impressive 4 poster bed. The breakfast was very nice and served in good time. Definitely recommended.
