I have a rule of hotels are for sleeping and restaurants are for eating, however the Lounge is great on both fronts. When we arrived the place was buzzing and the bar full of happy eaters. Initially we were told they had no tables available for an evening meal but this was quickly resolved and space was found. So if...

Very few hotels have I slated over the years but this one was disappointing , we paid the bit extra for a superior room unfortunately it fell very short of that. Another reviewer has mentioned pictures can be taken to deceive we feel this with the room we were in. It was far from superior yes had a big bathroom...

I never, ever leave reviews for hotels because I was taught if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. We stayed at The Lounge for my partners birthday and as soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was very welcoming and ambient. Check in was easy and we were shown to our room by a very...

Excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff, we had a room on the front of the hotel, and there was quite a lot of traffic noise, the room was spotless and the bed comfortable, the only down point for us was breakfast was only served till 8:45 which was a bit early for us to have cooked breakfast, but would...

We stayed for only one night in the appartment. There were 7 ladies and every one of us was inpressed by the standard of the appartment. The appartment had a bathroom and also a separate toilet. A fridge / microwave / etc. The cleanleness was brilliant. We booked for dinner on Saturday night and although they struggled to get us...

I had previously visited the Lounge for drinks and was impressed by the ambience. With this in mind we decided to stay in one of the 'boutique' hotel rooms. It was perfectly clean, just lacking in character (so not boutique) . The bathroom was large but the shower substandard. The staff are super warm and friendly .

Our room, which overlooked the main street, was welcoming and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the set, new year's eve, tapas meal very much. The cocktails were wonderful. New year's day dinner, from the, very varied, main menu was good, as were the breakfasts on both mornings.

We were quite excited about visiting this hotel as the photographs make it look really impressive. What we realised after being in the room for a few minutes is that a lot of effort has been put into the aesthetic, but it doesn't bear close scrutiny. As a compliment to the interior designers, it looks as though they have come...

Booked this hotel for a short break in the Lakes between Christmas and New Year. Used the website booking.com. Travelled as a couple. Arrived at the hotel (previous reviews state that it is difficult to find but it is on right as you go into town centre) We also quickly found the ample free parking behind the hotel easily (sign...

The room, a Kingsize double, was absolutely fabulous. Clean and warm. Overlooking the street, but still quiet. The breakfast was also superb. There was plenty of choice and the staff in the restaurant, and the hotel in general, were all very helpful. So much so that we have booked to return to the hotel in February, with other members of...
