I recently stayed at this Hotel. There was some confusion initially with my reservation. However after that was resolved we were welcomed. The interior is very welcoming. The rooms are clean and very comfortable.
The restaurant is excellent.

New price hike for a small cup of Americano coffee stands at an outrageous £4.30.
How can they justify this?
The Hotel has always been relatively pricey but this latest increase which has been introduced during major building work is beyond understanding.
This is an amazing hotel. I was with a large group of colleagues who stayed between 2-5 nights whilst working in Cumbria.
The staff at the hotel looked after us so well and were very friendly and welcoming all week.

We were initially booked into another hotel that let us down - and by chance found this hotel which was a Thwaites hotel. We had stayed in The Crown Inn at Pooley Bridge 10 days before, so considered Thwaites to be a good brand.
