Very enjoyable two night visit in this accommodation booked by cycling tour company. The landlord was welcoming, helpful and friendly. Could not have done more for us. My room was fine with all amenities, bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of our C2C cycle trip. It was just perfect for our needs. It is located very close to the town centre, but in a quiet location. John, the owner was very welcoming and helpful. He suggested places to eat and made reservations for us. The breakfast was ample and tasty and set us...

I stayed here for two nights with a group riding C2C. The C2C route runs right past the front door. The manager was super helpful. Gave me lots of tips for what to see and do in town and gave us good guidance about the ride. I had a single room with a comfortable bed and a shower room with...

Stayed twice for weekend trips and love the place. The owners are really friendly and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable, beds are dreamy, coffee machine and I had a bath both times. Breakfasts are fantastic, fresh fruit and vegy as well as meat cooked breakfast menus. The place is 5 mins walk from Penrith which is a lovely little town,...

I had a lovely surprise when I was told yes when I asked about a room for the night. I have stayed at The Norcroft on many occasions and also I've been told 'no room' quite often. I can imagine that once people experience the quality and the friendliness they stay as often as there is room. I just love...

Without question one of the finest guest houses that I have stayed in and cannot wait to return. From the warm welcome on arrival I knew I was going to be content with my accommodation choice for that night; the room was excellent well decorated, clean and with all you could need including an espresso coffee machine. The bed was...

Shared a twin room, comfortable with nice addition on a coffee machine. Lovely hot bath, complete with toiletries, although in room 5 the cold tap was quite noisy (possibly air in the system) but nothing that really worried me. Tasty breakfast in the morning and very friendly owner, obviously used to cyclists. Clean and good value.

I booked a single room here for one night on my way up to Scotland. For the price I was paying, I expected something rather rough around the edges, but the Norcroft delivered in every way. The room was fairly small, but it was cosy, homely and very clean, and they'd been very clever with the use of space. The...

owner was very friendly and helpful and informative although his partner was less enthusiastic serving breakfast. Must say excellent breakfast. I had booked a single room and was very disappointed overall. The room was top of the house with bed under eaves sloping ceiling made it very enclosed. As the room was very small with a small window didn't have...

Hi Please review, Great little B&B 24 March 2016. Or any other review for the room you stayed in. We do try to offer a complete package to our customers. Whist the room is small it has everything required including a mirror and a new fully working kettle, as for the hair drier, the information book tells you to ask...
