A beautiful house, with a lovely room, delicious breakfasts and friendly staff in a very convenient location. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and amazing bathroom and had coffee and tea provided daily. It was easy for us to walk to both Windermere and Bowness and the lake was under a mile away. Would definitely recommend!

Not a lot to say really, apart from we've been to a lot of B&B's in our time, and this place is fantastic! From the moment we met Mick, he made us feel extremely welcome. Every time we saw him, we chatted for ages, felt like we'd known him for years! The room was great, very clean and comfy. Fantastic...

Me and my partner have just stayed here for 3 nights. We struggled to find it as it's quite hidden in the street and the sign wasn't in clear view but once we did we thought it was lovely from the outside. Mick was very friendly, we didn't get to meet Wendy as she was on holiday. We stayed in...

My wife and I stayed at the Ivythwaite Lodge a few weeks back and felt we had to tell people of our experiences. First of all is the location,it is situated only a 10 minute walk down to all that Windermere has to offer. We arrived about 2.30 pm and were shown to our room (number 2). The owners are...

Stayed here for 1 night for my husbands 50th birthday. Lovely spacious room (No 2) with a huge comfy bed, with an extra large spa bath. The room was spotless and oh so quiet. They have a carpark, but we didn't need to use it as there was ample parking in the street just outside the B+B. It only took...

Just recently visited for a holiday in the lakes. We were in the top room which was spotless, very spacious and perfect for us. There was a good selection for breakfast, cooked to order, which was delicious and set us up for the day ahead. The hosts, Mick and Wendy were very welcoming and had good knowledge of the area...
