I was for 3 nights in the small single room up top. Room and bathroom clean and good size for a single person in my opinion. Great choice for breakfast, very tasty as well, everyone very professional and friendly, great service. Even though I was driving around (parking on site) the location was very good, town centre 5 min walk...

Many thanks to the team at the Ravensworth for another enjoyable stay, breakfasts are fantastic as is the standard of accommodation and hospitality. The location is perfect for a 2 minute walk into Windermere. See you next time Regards Liz & Paul

This is the second time I've stayed at the Ravensworth and it sems to get better each time. Last year I had the only (tiny) single room tight at the top, this time I was given a nice double room up just one flight of stairs. The room was clean an quite well apointed, although a bit to warm which...

Did a a lot of comparisons and choose this B&B as it had very good reviews! But was disappointed as room and bed small, bed was very uncomfortable and as for the TV really not sure why they bothered as so small!! On a brighter note there was a good choice of breakfast though bacon could have done with being...

Lovely room, nicely appointed and well equipped, huge bed, very comfy. Breakfast great, excellent choice, plenty of everything. I've only given a rating of 4 stars because our room was on the 2nd floor and there's no lift. We are in our 60's and I have arthritis but as I didn't realise how the hotel was laid out I didn't...

We were in a good location to the town, bus & railway stations but our room was small and on the main road which was very noisy. Had to keep the window open because it was a hot room. The breakfasts were very nice and HOT

I was up-graded to a double room (had booked single) which was very nice. There was road noise but that is to be expected when house is on a busy road. Quietened down at night and it didnt prevent me from sleeping well both nights.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Our room like the rest of the hotel was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is a sort of conservatory which is quite pleasant. The location is 5 mins on foot from windermere and the railway station. I would use it again.
