Good position, excellent afternoon tea, well furnished and very clean with a comfortable bedroom and lovely breakfast. Very good value for money. Didn't really use the reception rooms, apart from investigating maps, but they both looked really nice and cosy.

We arrived and were immediately made welcome. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection was excellent and the quality was great too. The Ravensworth is a very short walk from Windermere train station and is ideally situated for the town centre. We will certainly return if we ever find ourselves wanting to book a few days...

Added bonus of a comfortable guest lounge dining area and tea and coffee available if you want to relax and read other than in your room. Good choice at breakfast and very friendly hosts to top up tea and toast if...

Had a really great time at the Ravensworth! Nick and Cheryl are wonderful hosts and helpful in telling us about some local walks. We stayed in a King Room and the room and bathroom were excellent with great amenities, particularly the bathrobes and chocolates (for booking direct)! The breakfast each morning was really nice and generously sized! Would highly recommend!
