Detailed Reviews
We returned home today after a lovely 4 night stay at this hotel. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children. On arrival it was easy to park in the free parking bays outside of the hotel. The check in was quick and easy and we were pleased to see our family room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfy, towels replaced daily and there was also tea and coffee.
Graham the owner was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and was able to help with any queries we had about eating out and places to visit nearby. The bar area was very interesting with lots of different artefacts around that Graham has collected over the years. Our kids liked looking at them and many have an interesting tale behind them which we enjoyed listening to whilst having our drinks. There was a good selection of drinks and the prices were reasonable.
The full English breakfast was very nice and the kids enjoyed the cereal selection and the yogurts and pastries. The lady serving breakfast Mai was very efficient and very friendly taking time to ask our kids about their day and making sure we were enjoying our breakfasts.
The hotel location is in a quieter area right next to the theme park so it is nicely away from the hustle and bustle of the blackpool nightlife but there is a tram stop across the street that meant we could come and go as we pleased as the trams run very reguarly until late.
This was our first family holiday in blackpool and we all had great time. We were very happy with this hotel and will be back again when we visit blackpool. Highly recommended.

Just returned home today from a 5 night stay at the Clifton Court Hotel. Our hosts and their staff were very helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our double room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the main entrance, with a fantastic view of the big dipper! The room was spotless & cleaned daily, it had a TV, hairdryer and a kettle with plenty of tea, coffee, sugar milk etc. The mugs were placed in plastic bags & changed daily, the room key was handed to us sanitised, in a plastic bag. Excellent Covid19 measures in place, masks/visors worn & sanitiser placed everywhere, with gentle reminders to use everytime you entered the dining room. The hotel is situated at the South end right next to the Pleasure Beach & the tram stops regularly at the end of the road. I would recommend purchasing a tram pass. We bought a 7 day pass even though we were only there for 5 days, you can use it on the bus as well so it more than paid for itself. We travelled to Fleetwood, St Anne's & Lytham as well as hopping on & off between piers every day. Breakfast at the Clifton is amazing! lots of choice served to your table by the lovely May, it really sets you up until tea time. So the burning question, would we return? You bet we will, why would we want to stay anywhere else. Well done Graham & staff, keep up the excellent work.

We have been going to The Clifton Court Hotel now for at least 6 years and every time it never disappoints. Excellent measures in place for Covid 19, lots of hand sanitizer stations, the whole hotel is always spotless from top to bottom. The bar is always stocked with different unusual drinks. The detail in the bar area is so unique and quirky and again very clean. The room key was provided in a little bag which had been santized, in the bedrooms the cups and remote control for the TV was also in sealed bags. The breakfast was outstanding as always and nothing is ever too much bother for Graham. Special mention to the lovely waitress May who recognised us from previous stays and who is always ever so friendly. Graham is full of knowledge of Blackpool advising us on when to go etc for busy times to avoid and can always recommend delicious places to eat. We will never stay anywhere else in Blackpool except this hotel, we always leave sad and cannot wait to return next year! Thanks Clifton Court for your amazing hospitality.

This hotel is based in a lovely area of Blackpool. Close to the prom and the Pleasure Beach but away from the noise and the crowds. We had pre paid for parking which was right outside the hotel. It made things incredibly easy when loading and unloading the car.
This was our first venture from home since March and like many travellers I did not know what to expect. I need not have worried, Graham and Sue are very experienced hoteliers. The changes they had made were very reassuring but not intrusive. Our keys were given in a bag rather than just handed over. They are disinfected between guests. There is hand santiser at all the key points in the hotel and everyone was using it as they entered the hotel and on their way into the dining room. It made me feel safe. The room was up one small flight of stair and was of a good size. There were three of us and it more than catered for our needs. The beds were super comfy, there was a shower room which was more than adequate and the room had a lovely cosy feel. There was a safe for valuables and also a fridge for storing water etc.and a kettle with all the associated drink choices you would expect We asked for extra pillows and they were literally there the next minute. This hotel is spotlessly clean.
We were booked in for bed and breakfast. If you get the chance do not miss this!! There is a buffet for your cereals and juices etc. The only difference now is that they bring what you require rather than you helping yourself. The staff all wore facemasks at breakfasts and where possible they give you the same table each day so it very much feels like your space. They are so friendly you soon forget about the facemasks. The cooked breakfast is absolutely superb with great quality ingredients which makes all the difference. They do not cut corners at this hotel in any shape or form.
There is also a lovely little bar where we played cards and chatted to the owner. The bar is fabulously interesting and again you feel so welcome. Great drinks at a great price. We know Blackpool very well , it is our home town. Would we stay at the Clifton Court again? absolutely in a heart beat.

We have been staying at Clifton Court since 2017 and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Blackpool.
We love the location, its nice & quiet, parking on site, stone throw from the Pleasure Beach & close to tram stop if walking home after a long day is too much- we were always shattered!! Plus Graham has his lovely wee pub on site that is so nice & chilled to sit in after a long day exploring. Hubby recommends a pint of Becks Vier!! He has a great selection of drinks available and reasonably priced too.
You MUST get up for brekkie, Graham & Mai do a phenomenal breakfast, everything is freshly cooked to order and there is plenty other choice if you don't fancy the full English- pastries, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yogurts, tea & coffee & fruit juices, you will definitely not go hungry.
Graham & the team are fantastic, you are well looked after from your arrival until its time to go home. This time we stayed in room 1, the family room. This room was bigger, 2 double beds, nice bathroom, fridge in the room which is such a handy thing especially in the summer heat for keeping things cool, free bottled water, kettle & tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron & iron board, TV too although I didn't come to Blackpool to sit in the room watching TV 😁safe in the room too- these little things do really make a difference.
It is so lovely to be able to come back to Clifton Court again after the last 18 months, we will be back again very soon Graham! Thanks for everything from your Edinburgh friends!

As a family, this hotel was the perfect location. Just outside the hustle and bustle but really close to the Pleasure Beach. Parking was easy to find on the road outside for free and the room was ready early so we could check in before going for a day out. Staff were very welcoming and the hotel was clean and had everything we needed. They also gave lots of advice on the local area. Breakfast was amazing and they made a lovely one for our little girl with a flag and Mickey Mouse toast. The best place we have stayed in Blackpool and we will be back here again. Highly recommend to all.

The Clifton Court Hotel is in a nice quiet area, just around the corner from the Pleasure Beach and South Pier, a great location. The rooms are clean and tidy, fresh towels, and an immaculately clean en-suite shower room. Lovely freshly cooked to order breakfast with a range of cereals and juices on offer as well. And don't forget the quiet lounge bar for an evening refreshment.

Have recently returned from a two night stay with my mother and son. I chose this hotel as it is very close to the the Pleasure Beach but in a quiet street where there is plenty of free parking. Tram stop is just round the the corner so very easy to reach the central Tower area. The rooms are fairly small but they are very well laid out and spotlessly clean with comfy beds, so we were very happy. The cooked breakfast is delicious with good quality ingredients. Graham was so helpful, from providing local information when I was booking to making sure that we were really well looked after during our stay. Thank you Graham and staff for helping to make our first visit to wonderful Blackpool so enjoyable.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights with my daughter and three grandchildren. We booked a family suite (double bed and two singles) and a second room with a double and single bed. The family suite was a good size, well maintained with a fridge, safe and bottled water. Beds were very comfortable and everybody slept well. The second bedroom room was relatively small but few people go to Blackpool to sit in their room! The en suite in the smaller room was a little cramped but adequate with a temperamental shower that went from scolding hot to cold for no obvious reason.
Both rooms and the hotel itself were incredibly clean with well laundered bedding. The owners were very friendly and lovely with the children. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was one of the best l have tasted in a B and B and l have stayed in many. Produce was fresh and good quality, choice was extensive, food well cooked and plentiful and staff very efficient. It was obvious that the owners went out of their way to ensure that nobody started their day hungry.
The hotel is close to the sea and tram stop ( near the Pleasure Beach and South Pier end) but set far enough back from the main roads to ensure a quiet stay. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable visit with lovely hosts and although not a regular visitor to Blackpool l would certainly stay at this hotel again if in the area.

We stop regularly in Blackpool and find the Clifton Court Hotel to be the cleanest and friendliest establishment around. If your worried about Covid19 then we found this hotel to be (yet again) super clean, in fact we don't know how they do. Standards are very high. Plenty of Covid measures in place but the balance is just right so you hardly notice. Pleasure Beech is only a short walk and the tram stops at the end of the road, but if you do beat a retreat then the hotel bar is brilliant, unique and welcoming, with a really good selection of well priced drinks. We visit Blackpool 2-3 times a year as we have an ice skating daughter who skates at the Arena, so sometimes we need a quick stay, other times we turn it into a short break. Either way we are always made very welcome by Sue, Graham and the team. You wont find a better small hotel in Blackpool, we know from plenty of experience. Top tip, ring Graham direct rather than go through booking sites.
