I am very fair, so to be honest, for the cheapness of the room for a night, we didn't expect too much. We don't need poncy silly expensive decor & surroundings, we don't want or need frills, so old fashioned/chintzy, not fussed, so long as well maintained & thoroughly clean, that's all, standards you would have in your own home....

No spaces to park, told to "pay and display somewhere else", old wore down carpets, furniture and facilities. Very bad attitude from owner/receptionist. Full hotel is dated, poor quality and to be completely honest needs shutting down and revamping

Don't ever stay here!!!! Holy Jesus do not stay here!!!!! "Free parking" all 5 spaces of them when it's apparently reserved no where to park other than a mile down the road for an extra £6.50. Asked for a refund not a single chance manager stood and argued with me for 10 minutes when I explained the state of the...

We were greeted by the manger in a very friendly manner. However when entering the hotel it smelt of stale smoke while stunk the whole b&b out this smell was very unpleasant and did not smell clean at all. The room was very small and basic don't think it had been decorated for a very long time and walls were...

The place is terrible, the staff are rude, if you went in with low expectations you would still be disappointed. The room look nothing like the pictures, the fixtures are ripped off the walls or hanging off and use sockets at a risk. You stick to the floor and the beds are well, stained. Truly horrible.

Stayed one night in late December on the way back to London. In a town where B&B's are plentiful, this was really awful. We are two adults and 1 teenager and stayed in a room with double bed and two singles. Looked like two houses joined together. Checked in and got last parking space thank goodness as there was nothing...

Stayed for two days. Got parked fine. As we checked in we were greeted by the most foul smell of grease. The rooms were very basic, smelt like mould and looked like they hadn't been decorated since the 50's. Bedding and towels seemed quite clean. The wall paper was falling off and lots of random bits of plaster An stains....
