Stayed at the chimes from Friday too Sunday 21-23 April. Really nice welcome from the owner. Really helpful. And accommodated us really well !! Any you asked he helped us out. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Bit dated. But for £25 a night .. it's good value for money. Can't comment on the bad reviews ... but we enjoyed it....

Arrived at chimes on a out of season Friday early evening. Only two parking spaces out back but as it was low season there was plenty of space on the main road. The room was tiny, it did have a lovely view with an amazing sunset but so small. Just enough room for a very small double bed (flush against...

Dear Danielle, Thanks for your review and we appreciate each and every word of your experience you shared. You were correct to say that you booked the cheapest available room which may not come with the fringe benefits but still perfect for a short stay as mentioned by yourself as well. The upgrade options were also declined by you to...

This hotel is filthy. Skirting boards had dust that had been there months. There were crisps behind the cupboards. Sugar still in bottom of cups. We booked for 2 adults, 2 children under 4 and a 13 year old. We were given a qudrouple room which had 2 double beds cost of £180 for 2 nights. Asked for a cot...

Dear Sue052, Thanks for your review and we are sad that you could not get the service you expected. On the other side, your concerns are contradictory to your own review, for instance, you booked a quadruple room and brought an extra child without prior intimation to us, so we could sort thing accordingly. However, Considering your circumstances, we provided...

On your arrival you were told the same and could not offer you any upgrade as we are full up on weekends weeks in advance. Hope you had looked your confirmation which could...
