Won't recommend this we thought we had double bed room with en'suite but ended up with 2 single beds and toilet and shower separate a long way down the corridor so we moved out to another hotel. The bar and breakfast room are down some stairs and very basic .... certainly would not eat breakfast there. The room was so... More

Stayed here with the lads in October for 2 nights(14 of us) The owner was great and checked us all in no problem. Some hotels can be funny about large groups of young lads! Breakfast was bang on, full English to soak up the beer from the night before! Rooms were clean and a good size! £45 each for two... More

At first glance i really liked the place, the guy who was taking over the current owners was friendly and helpful. The twin room was small but clean and had good tea/coffee making facilities. However when i went to go to sleep in my bed i found that it was not fit to sleep in. All along the middle the... More

Was directed here after the b&b we originally booked has a burst pipe. Whole place is dated, really needs a refurbishment. On arrival came to a sign which stated we had to go down to the bar to check in, nobody in sight, once we found host shocked to discover that the bar was self service and it closes when... More

well there was nobody in sight as I was working in the back room getting ready for the day as check in is not till 2pm. you got here at 11am. As for the bar its not self-service but yes it closes when the last customer goes to bed. (95% of our customers likes this as they can drink all... More

The host was amazing, we arrived later in the eve and he was really friendly and kind. Theres a bar and a pool table so we played a few games of pool. He was happy to wait for us to finish before he would go to bed always with a smile. We were meant to leave the next day but... More

A very warm welcome as we all arrived for my daughters 21st birthday weekend, 7 of us altogether. Hotel is old and desperately in need of refurb, old bedding, old carpets, old curtains etc, the underground dining area and bar was like a scene from Heartbeat it was that old, but for the price it was ok. Did have to... More

Firstly , it was great to get a nice welcome ad a big group of blokes, normally you get a "don't sacrifice" my daughter look when you check in. For £25pp it was never going to be the ritz, and the room was about right for the price, which includes brekkie and free wifi. Owners were very friendly and great... More

I wasn't expecting much for 30 pounds bed and breakfast, but it was nicer than I expected! The room we were in was quite small, but it was plenty big enough for my friend and I. The en suite bathroom was in what appeared to be a closet so it was tiny but the water was nice and hot and... More
