Single room. Mattress at end of life. Pillows even worse. Lukewarm hot water. Draft from under the door so fierce had to prop the chair against it to stop it banging all night. above either the laundry or kitchen fans which were very noisy. Food not very good and a lack of choice, No coffee or tea available during the...

Just arrived back from a few days at the Carlton Hotel. Must say that we had a good time despite the weather! The hotel has been very tastefully redecorated since our last visit and is now an ideal holiday venue being on the seafront and close to all amenities. Food was as always very good with a varied menu!

Booked last minute and stayed for one night on my own on a Saturday night. Surprised to actually get a single room with a single bed, a double would have been nice but the room was clean and comfortable and I wasn't on the pull that night. No sea view in my room just the tyre garage at the back...

I stayed for two nights. Got a good deal for a single room B&B with one evening meal thrown in. Room was excellent and very quiet. The hotel public areas have been refurbished and a good job has been done. There is a new bar area at the entrance. Breakfast remains good, the staff are friendly and the food on...

Lovely staff and they are there to make the stay a good one. This type of hotel has seen better days. However, they still work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Some one called before we arrived being pro active and booked our meal for Friday night. It was excellent. Breakfast was okay. The down side was that the rooms...

Have just come back from staying here for 3 nights. This hotel is nice and clean and the staff are so lovely and friendly. On first night we had a sea view but a noisy window due to high winds, we were told we could move but it wouldn't be a sea view and we were welcome to go check...

Th hotel itself is rather dated and in need of updating. We booked a superior room overlooking the sea. The room itself was small and the bath enamel was worn through in a couple of places. The constant sound of doors slamming through the night and the noise of early morning revellers constantly disturbed our sleep.

We stayed for might in February. The first double standards room shown to us was very small and overlooked a building site at the back of the hotel. We took the last available room which was a twin sea view room. Again small due to the ceiling which was lower near the window side of the room. We had to...

Hotel reception area is spacious and has great sea views. The lady on reception was very helpful and informative. We Had not booked and was just a walk in and could only get a family room with extra bed which was not needed but the price for the room was a good rate so all ok. 2nd floor room 204...
