Detailed Reviews
We always visit for food when we come and see the illuminations. The team are always very accommodating to my little boy and we always feel very welcome. The food is lovely and beautifully presented. If you are looking for family friendly good food in Blackpool then this is the best place to be. We will 100% be back.

Lovely stay in a very well done, brand new hotel.
We attended during the half term break in October with our two children and had a lovely time. The hotel rooms are lovely and definitely value for money and the restaurant has a lovely ambiance as well as serving food of the highest quality.
We really enjoyed our time at Woodhouse Hotel and were made to feel extremely welcome by the owners; Dean and Becky.
Our children cannot wait to re-visit.

We go here all the time we are in Blackpool for various Northern Soul weekenders at the Winter Gardens or the Tower.
Stopped off a week ago to cut my journey down to London by half.
Dean & Becky are wonderful hosts and as soon as they seen me they upgraded me to a Sea view.
Spotlessly clean with very helpful friendly staff & great food.
Looking forward to going back in November for the World Championships at the Tower. 5*

Room was quite dusty when we arrived and despite being newly refurbished you can tell it was a quick job, few corners missed making it look a sketchy job. It’s also not a place to stay for a long period of time as the only storage is 4 tiny drawers, no wardrobe if you’re wanting to hang a shirt up.
It was nice to see complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms. However, the kettle they had provided had to be plugged in at the other side of the room and put on the window ledge when in use as this was the only plug sockets.
Also, no one on the reception during our entire stay. We were left waiting when we arrived to check in, when someone did come they were very brief. Had us fill out a form with our details which asked for bank details for deposit which I’d paid prior which the receptionist wasn’t aware of. We were then given our room keys and off we went. The receptionist didn’t give us any directions to our room and there was no signage. No carpet on the stairs going to the top floor.
In regards to the deposit we are still waiting for this to be returned. It states on the website that once the room has been checked after check out it will be refunded and be with us 48 hours after. Myself and my partner have rang multiple times but the phone just rings.
We then went out on Friday night and came back around midnight. Doors were locked which I appreciate for security purposes but no one on reception or to be seen. We tried ringing various times. Eventually some one came and we received a call back the following morning. We were never made aware that the doors would be locked at a certain time, we were just informed the night porter would be on at 10pm.
Breakfast was very expensive for what we got and service was very slow despite there only being 3 tables occupied. 2 dogs ran into the restaurant whilst we had our breakfast which whilst we are dog lovers, not when we’re in a restaurant eating a meal. Also, breakfast didn’t start until 9am which meant we were waiting for quite a while in the morning. This may not be down to the hotel but the noise on the Saturday night from banging doors at 1:30am kept us up. I assume it was from the staff downstairs who were cleaning and shutting down the bar.

My husband and I stayed in the superior sea view room. What a stunning room with a lovely view of the sea. The room was so comfortable with good quality carpet and decor, it was so quiet even though we were on the promenade, The bed was superb, it was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. The bathroom was spacious with a brilliant shower. The hotel is very secure so we could go out with confidence. Lovely seating area outside with a bar and restaurant, great if you just want to chill out. The owner Dean and Becky are so helpful and there for your every need. Highly recommend. Looking forward to our next trip.

Welcomed in for dinner with our 2 dogs, presented with menus, and asked to go to bar to order. Lovely table, a five minute wait bar to order. Staff at the bar didn't know the menu or cost. Order made, and 45+ minute wait for food, whilst noticing others after us received their food. Wrong order arrived, then half of the order arrived, and another wait until full order was received. Heard other tables complaining and asking for refunds due to the wait. Management around but no apology from them, only waiting staff having to cope with the mayhem of wrong and late food orders. Payment upfront and when food when arrived very average.

We went to Blackpool to visit the water park, and chose this hotel for one night only. The room was impeccable. Everything was very organized and clean. The manager was very attentive. We didn't choose a bedroom with the seaview, but we know this option is available. We really recommend this hotel.

Just back from our first stay at the recently refurbished Woodhouse Hotel.
The whole experience was amazing from the beautiful bar & restaurant to the luxuriously equipped bedrooms. The staff and owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming. 5* experience thank you
