Room basic but clean. Owners very friendly. Drinks very reasonable. Breakfast was lovely choice of cereal or cooked or both. We picked this hotel because it is very close to Blackpool Tower and front as we didn't want to use the car. There is parking at the rear at a small charge which was great. If you want a basic...

Disgusting This hotel was dirty, the room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. You couldn't even get to the shower. The bedding hadn't been changed, carpets were dirty, i don't think they had ever seen a Hoover. Also there is a nightclub in the adjacent street with very loud music until the small hours And the full english...

This review hardly merits a reply, however I will respond to the various points individually. This guest had room 16 which contains a double bed, large double fitted wardrobe, dressing table and 2 bedside lockers it is above average size for a Blackpool hotel. I will concede the en-suite is not overly large but it contains the necessaries i.e. shower,...

My husband, disabled sister and myself stayed for two nights at the Dukeries Hotel, while visiting Blackpool to see illuminations. The hotel is fairly small and basic but has a bar, lounge area and a lift to bedrooms (which are small and tight) and restaurant (for breakfast). The reception area is small and there is no way a wheelchair can...

Thank you for your review of The Dukeries Hotel. We are sorry that we are not fully wheelchair accessible. Due to the layout of the hotel it is tight for wheelchairs and walking frames, and we do not have clearance at the front of the hotel for a ramp. Hopefully our central location made it access to the town easier....

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Winter Gardens so it's easy to find if you lose your way. Our room was probably one of the smallest I've ever stayed in but saying that.. there was everything we needed from tea/coffee making facilities to a TV and hairdryer. The shower was temperamental and virtually just dribbled out...

Thank you for your review of The Dukeries Hotel and that you enjoyed our amenities. We are sorry that the shower was temperamental, we currently have eight new showers awaiting install, so hopefully these will be ready by 2017. We are sorry you didn't get a full toasted bacon sandwich, someone obviously at fault and we have passed this information...

My annual trip to Blackpool was a solo trip for the first time. No difference though. It is still a home from home and single guests never feel isolated with such lovely owners and staff. No complaints as usual. Room lovely and clean and breakfast as good as ever. Will be back next year without a doubt.

After reading a number of reviews about the hotel we decided to book it as comments were good regarding cleanliness ect, I'm not sure who wrote these reviews but I would like to meet them and discuss their opinions on cleanliness. On arrival first impressions weren't good the moment you walk in the doors there is a damp and smokey...

I am not quite sure of what this guest is about. It has taken her 10 months to write this review...perhaps she has let her imagination run wild during this period? The only comment I will make is that if the hotel was so bad why did she stay and why did she not comment at the time? I certainly...
