How do you judge a Hotel? Cleanliness? Facilities? Maintenance of Room? Location? Friendliness / Professionalism of Staff? A good night’s sleep? Value for Money? I guess in truth, it’s by all of the above. And perhaps the overall rating will vary with price paid. Pay £30 per night and you must expect a lower standard of facilities than if you...

Another great holiday at the Colonial. My parents stayed here, but they don't have internet so al write it for them. They paid £200 for three nights b&b, the only good thing about their room was the view, other than that it was scabby and run down. Was shocked at the price they paid. Once again we stayed at this hotel and had a most excellent stay for 5 nights over the weekend,,Good food entertainment as usual,Paula ,Jas,Chuck the Night porter and Mrs Singh were all very helpfull "couldn`t do enough for you" to make the stay more enjoyable,Lovely and clean hotel with nice carvery food and a good full english breakfast to start...

Massive thanks to Paula made us feel at home from the moment we checked in couldn't do enough for us, we stayed in a sea view family room which was spotless and had everything we needed, the hotel is a bit dated but clean and comfortable and reasonably priced, we have already organised our next trip, wouldn't hesitate to recommend...
