The hotel on its own was a nice place, the rooms on first inspection were clean, we stayed 2 nights and not once were the tea/coffee replaced, the room was not cleaned and the towels were not replaced. The bar was ridiculously expensive!! £6 for a double spirit and mixer! And no beers on draft all bottled and expensive. Breakfast...

Full marks...

Very good value for money. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast :- the eggs benedict was great. Friendly and accomodating staff. A litle way out if you have walking difficulties but for us thats not a problem we enjoy a walk. No noise at night so easy to sleep. Would book again without hesitation

The Baron is a small beachfront hotel on the North Shore. Clean and reasonably priced the breakfast was excellent, staff were attentive to my needs. Wifi was unavailable and heating was unreliable. However I would recommend the Baron for a short stay.
