I booked a last minute nite away for myself and rang the hotel direct. The lady on the telephone was really pleasant. Upon arrival at the hotel I was greeted with a really friendly smile ( even though it was 10pm on a Saturday !) I was shown up to my room Which was spotlessly clean, and very well presented...

Just back from another great break at Rubens in Blackpool. As usual Ash and Lara the most welcoming hosts and even the addition of a four legged host who sneaked in to welcome us. Our room was clean, comfy and had enough tea an coffee to even keep us quiet! We are always greeted like old friends and our peculiarities...

Our first experience here was so good that whenever we return to Blackpool we always check with the Rubens first. Sometimes they are full, so we have to go elsewhere, and our stay is never as satisfactory. When we arrived this time it wasn’t like checking into a B&B, it was more like visiting relatives: a warm and relaxed welcome,...

As always we had a fantastic stay with Ashley and Lara, they are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble, my morning cuppa was always appreciated. Rubens is our "little home from home" and we love staying there. i dont want to sat too many good things as we may not be able to book a room when we next...

Ashley and Lara are perfect hosts, nice bar where you can mix with other guests. Very good service all round... Breakfast, cups of coffee and even ironed my outfit!!!

from when we got there utill when we went home they made us feel so welcome .. we was there with are 3 kids for my sons 18th . lots to do even in the winter we find lots of places to eat and drink and lots to do in the day... the rooms at this b&b where very very...

we stayed at the rubens for the very first time this weekend 12th nov2011 the rooms were super they were spottless and the hosts were really friendly they made us feel welcome as soon as we got there we would recommend anyone to stay there as we will stay again

Superb B&B ideally located in Blackpool for easy access to Blackpools attractions and night life. You are made to feel welcome and are well looked after by the two owners during your stay. The B&B has a well stocked bar, providing an idea warmer for your night out in Blackpool. Good food is served up for breakfast. Am looking forward...

i have stayed ay THE RUBENS on many occassions and have always had a comfortable and relaxing stay. the rooms are clean and well decorated and the hosts are always pleasant and accomodating even when disturbed whilst on the golf course.i would reccommend the rubens to anyone planning a trip to blackpool and will myself return even if its just...
