Stayed overnight , with the Mrs, and don't have a lot to moan about. We had a family room which was fine and spacious, with a shared bathroom. Ok for us well situated near the castle. Continental type breakfast, help yourself cereals, toast, boiled eggs, and many jams . Don't forget the television with every channel you can think of...

I booked relatively late for an academic conference nearby. There wasn't a room available for both nights together, but when I arrived they managed to sort me out a lovely alternative to switching halfway through. I had no problems at all and very much appreciated the fast internet, lovely bathroom, comfy bed and proximity to the city centre (especially the...

Very well placed for visiting Lincoln. 5 minutes from the castle. I had booked one of the shared bathroom rooms (all others full). 3 rooms on the top floor shared a very clean modern bathroom. Room was fine, very comfortable bed, good wi-fi. Which when staying for one night is all you need. Breakfast was in a nice, light room...

I'm super impressed with this quaint little place. Not only is the price extremely reasonable, the service is second to none, and the hotel itself is well maintained and quirky. Martin is literally the most helpful and lovely hotel owner I've ever met ! There is nothing negative to write about this place. Would deffo stay again and of course...

Beautiful place up in the hill close to the castle and the big cathedral, super clean room and bathroom, wide range of teas offered inside the room, nice breakfast room with view, friendly and helpful staff. In any future visit to Lincoln, I will definitely stay there again.

Lovely people in a great location, close to castle and cathedral. Room was comfortable and the en suite very nice. Good breakfast if you don't want a "full English". The drive was a bit tight, especially coming at it from downhill.

The room was nice and spacious with great views over the city of Lincoln. We particularly liked the large, modern bathroom. The accommodation is located in a quiet, safe area which is just a few minutes walk from the high street as well as the cathedral quarter. Breakfast isn't particularly exciting though we were aware it would be continental. The...

Thank you for your review, pleased you appreciated the bathroom, yes I think the ladybirds came with the new wood windows. Which is a plus as whilst in Guatemala the place I stayed I was bitten by a scorpion due to the new wood ;-)

We stayed for 2 nights to attend an event and also my husbands birthday. Martin was very very helpful and we were able to check in much earlier than I stated on Booking.com. We'd also brought our classic mini which doesn't work too well on steep hills so very able to use Martin's space and park on the flat! All...
