Fantastic customer service. Michelle on front desk. Thank you. Brilliant .we had a great one nights stay but the TV wasn't working and couldn't be fixed.too late to move to another room. We mentioned it on checking out and Michelle offered us 2 complimentary breakfasts as compensation. Wonderful!. Then dining room manager was equally only too pleased to help etc. We had a great all you can eat breakfast . Filled us up for the journey back home .Lovely to see people happy in their jobs. Some hotels when you raise issues just shrug their shoulders "ok we'll take that on board" - but no action or recompense. Not here .thank you . Holiday Inn you were wonderful. Liverpool we will be back lovely city. Fantastic friendly people .Holiday inn.youre the best .thank you .

From our check-in experience, to the delightful mini suite, our stay in this ideally suitated hotel was absolutely superb. Channi on the reception greeted us with plenty of gaelic charm and wit and made us feel extremely welcome. She give us a beautifully appointed room, it was lovely, with a great selection of toiletries and beautiful soft white towels. The king size bed had the most beautiful linens, so soft, we slept like babies. Breakfast was very
nice, with plenty of choice, traditional cooked breakfast, fruits, yogurt, continental, croissants etc all plentiful, hot and tasty.
Each member of the team, from front
of house, bar staff, waiting staff and housekeeping made our stay really special. The location was excellent, just perfect for walking around this fantastic city. The people of
Liverpool really made this a memorable stay, we'll definitely return ASAP. Thanks for looking after us so well. Continued success one and all.

Juanita was friendly and efficient on reception, room was decent size and spotlessly clean , parking in car park next door for £6 overnight which is another bonus , or if travelling by train ,Lime St station is opposite.
Good selection of toiletries , as well as kettle with tea, coffee etc in the room
We spoke to the chambermaid ,Meisha as we were leaving and she was also a credit to the hotel and the city.
Would definitely stay here again

Having to travel to Liverpool for an important meeting I was delighted to see just how close it was to Lime Street railway station as I always struggle to find somewhere to park! My colleague & I arrived after a relatively smooth rail journey & after a journey of about two minutes from Lime Street we were there.
It is a modern hotel with an uninspiring reception area. We had to find out own way to the meeting room, a large room fit for purpose.
After a short while the person conducting the meeting felt the room to be too warm(it wasn't particularly hot). After a while we had a break where hot drinks were available. Upon returning to the room it quickly became apparent that the room was very cold. Unfortunately, there was no one available to turn the heating on! This resulted in almost everyone wearing costs in a vain attempt to stay warm. I find it difficult to accept that there was nobody who could turn the heating on for us.
Lunch was ok, a pasta dish was quite nice, this was followed by jelly for pud! This was not popular at all but I rather liked it I had two! The views from the dining room are wonderful, offering a panoramic perspective of Lime Street looking down towards the Walker Art Gallery.
My colleague was so cold she didn't feel well & left the meeting early(she was not the only one). The staff were helpful (apart from the heating issue), everywhere was clean.
I was pretty disappointed overall & can only assume this lack of attention was a one off & not the norm.

Stayed here January 29th after a visit to the Empire Theatre. The reception staff were brilliant they even checked us in early so we could leave our overnight bag and attend the matinee without carrying anything that would hinder our visit. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Had a meal in the hotel in the evening which we both enjoyed, food was excellent, staff again very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn for 5 days, Monday to Friday as a family of 4.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful making sure our stay was as stress free and enjoyed as much as possible.
The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard and the hotel itself throughout was spotlessly clean and hand gel stations provided by each lift and in the corridors throughout the hotel. The beds were very comfy and there was minimal noise throughout both the day and night. Breakfast was lovely each morning with plenty of choice and every need catered for.
The hotel was in the perfect place to be able to explore Liverpool City Centre with everywhere in walking distance and the taxi rank/train station right outside for the day trips outside of the city centre.
We had the best stay possible and look forward to returning in the near future!!!! 😁

Would highly recommend this excellent hotel with superb staff, comfortable rooms, modern facilities and a great breakfast. We stayed for one night to explore Liverpool and were given lots of tips by the staff. The room was comfortable and good size. Comfy beds, Freeview TV and good sized bathroom with bath/shower and toilet. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional - all you can eat full English breakfast, cereals, pastries and fruits. Tea and coffee to order. all you need to set you up for the day! Check in and check out was a breeze. Parking is easy and only costs £6 a day in the adjacent car park (You'll need the hotel to validate your ticket. Location is perfect, right next to Lime street station, right in the heart of Liverpool a 5 min walk to the cavern quarter or 10 mins through the city centre to the Albert Dock. What more could you ask for!

After having just spent 2 nights at the Holiday Inn in Manchester, which was superb, we were looking forward to carry on the positive Holiday Inn experience with our stay at the hotel in Liverpool. Unfortunately, this was a rather disappointing experience. We paid nearly 3 times the price compared to Manchester (I realise that Liverpool included a Friday night stay but still…) and for that got a lot less value. The room was small and dated. No fridge. I could never reach neither housekeeping nor reception via the phone in the room, it either just rang or rang busy. I therefore spent some considerable time queuing up at reception resolving various issues (stained bed sheets for instance) and also to get toilet paper… as the rooms aren’t made unless requested (we weren’t told at check-in, so were left disappointed to come back to an unmade room after our first night). I woke up both mornings with a stiff neck and a bad headache as the pillows were uneven, hard at one end… might need replacing? Of the 2 USB charging ports in the room, one didn’t work at all. For £290 for 2 nights, I’d expect better to be honest… On the plus side, the staff is very friendly and try and be helpful where they can. I wouldn’t return there and not sure I’d be rushing back to any Holiday Inn unless I know it’s of the standard of the Manchester one.

Dear Keanette, I appreciate you for sharing your review about your recent stay. I am very sorry that you did not experience an exemplary hotel stay due to the comfort, cleanliness and maintenance of our room. This is certainly below our usual high standard of service. Please be assured that I have noted and forwarded your comments for the management to improve. In the midst of the inconvenience, I am glad to know that the service of our staff was still appreciated. I very much hope that you will grant us the opportunity to prove ourselves again. Stayed here a few times over the years and can't ask for a better location. Once you are in the hotel its a walk out of the hotel and round the corner and you are in the city center. If you take a car, parking is in the shopping mall right next door. You get your parking ticket scanned by staff when you check out and pay £6 per day.
Didn't know how it would be what with the Corona virus still doing the rounds. You have to wear a mask in the public areas of the hotel. Other than that nothing else has really changed, obviously a lot more cleaning going on.
When we booked we couldn't seem to find a deal that included breakfast so ended up ringing the hotel. Spoke to one of the customer care team and got it sorted in about 5 minutes, cheers.
Breakfast was a self service thing like most hotels. This has changed and now you have to order what you want.
All of the staff were great and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Liverpool. Great location and great staff.

The Holiday Inn is in a perfect location to get around the city, it's close to the shops, bars and restaurants and just across the road from Lime Street railway station. It's a very good representative of the Holiday Inn brand, the rooms are good as is the bar and restaurant, the breakfast in the morning is outstanding and this is matched by the staff who must be the most helpful and friendly group I have come across in any hotel. There is parking next door at a much reduced price for 24 hours.
We spent four nights in the hotel and if we come back to Liverpool we will definitely stay at this hotel.
