The hotel's friendly staff and warm atmosphere are highlights for guests, contributing to the perception of good value for money, despite occasional service and amenity hiccups. The picture on trip advisor site is of the back of hotel which is where we had a room 2nd floor room 213. It faces straight out onto busy dual carriage way. Our room had good double glazing to stop the noise but an air vent which let all the noise in. If I had a choice I would have had a room on the other side which would have been quieter. Theres a big free car park right outside and when we were there there was lots of spaces. There is no restaurant / bar at hotel, but it is so convenient for all the food nearby. The ground floor of hotel is full of shops. Right next door to the hotel entrance is Dominos Pizza. Only after I had bought and paid for Pizza did they say that if I had showed my Travelodge key they would have given me a discount on some of the menu items. We had one of their take out specials 9inch pizza with 6inch garlic bread for 6.99 - luvly. Theres a Subway also under the hotel. Theres a Big Mac next door. KFC across the car park. Poundland and B&M stores across the car park. Chuffed to have everything just there. Pity they didnt tell me about discount food when I checked in. They told me all the discounts I could have had when I checked out. So ASK when you check in what is on offer as the deals may change. Good luck.

I am very pleased with my stay at this Travelodge. The reception area, corridors and room and bathroom were all clean and tidy. There were hand sanitisers available to use on entering ad leaving the hotel. I found all the staff to be polite and helpful, particular Julie the receptionist for whom nothing seemed to be any trouble. The site is situated near to the motorway network and is amongst shops and food services and also a cinema. I have used this Travelodge previously and will continue to do so.

We stopped 3 nights at the Stonedale Park Travelodge on a sightseeing trip to Liverpool. The rooms were perfect in every way and we couldn't have asked for more, the trip was made even more enjoyable by Julie on reception who was friendly helpful and informative, a truly valuable member of the staff.

We chose this hotel as it was £24.99 a night in the travelogue sale. It’s location is excellent, we were able to easily travel to the city centre as well as up to Southport and across to Crosby.
Check in was easy and we were assigned a room on the second floor.
We travelled with our dog and saw another dog also there at the same time.
Our room was on the side facing a VERY busy main road which is loud ALL day. Even with the window closed it did very little to quieten the road noise. We also had a room above us that sounded like they were repeatedly dropping bowling balls on the floor until 3am.
This meant all 3 of us got very little sleep. Not what you expect when you are hoping for a relaxing weekend away.
The area around the hotel is busy too with a McDonald’s, KFC and Dominoes drivers taking most of the parking spaces or parking very inconsiderately.
We would not stay here again even if the price was low.

Checked in quickly by Nicola who was very informative. Room was located at the rear therefore was a little noisy with the traffic however room was clean and house keepers was friendly when i asked for a replenishment of the teabags and sugar. Booked to go to horse racing, taxis was a great price to get to and from the hotel. I would book to stay here again but I would request a room on the other side of the hotel so it was not as loud with traffic noise. mrM.F

The hotelreception was easy though staff were practically zero to start. The room was okay for a night, it was clean and well set out. Downside, it was noisy from air conditioning outside, there was no soap in the containers and the toilet seat was just holding on.
The worst-Breakfast was served in a box containing items that cost little more than two pounds though Travelodge charge you £5.25 The milk was difficult to open and spilt everywhere and my advice is go to Mcdonalds next door.

Stayed here on Friday (17th jan) and only paid £38 fantastic value extremely clean, shower was brill aswell. Room was left very clean and checking in/out very quick. Few fixtures and fittings need fixing in room, light switches not fully secure and a few other small bits but this isn’t a 5* hotel and you aren’t paying £100+ for a room so can’t complain.

Arrived Friday 10th September for 2 nights with friends. This was the first and will definitely be the last time I use Travelodge. Firstly when we entered the room it had a smell of stale embedded sweat. When they were measuring up the curtains it is clear the thought was around how the can use the least amount of material possible. This is the first hotel I have ever used that does not have black out blinds. The room faced out onto the East Lancashire Road, never thought about this until returning from our night out at 3am to discover the road is constantly busy with cars speeding up and down throughout the night. The room was hot, no air conditioning so we had to open the window. There was a small fan provided, however as there were no plugs next to the bed this was essentially useless and made no difference whatsoever. Neither of us could sleep due to the road noise and were awake most of the night with minimum sleep. The following night it was exactly the same, however despite another warm night we decided to leave with window closed, still noisy but we managed about 4 hours sleep, probably did to sheer exhaustion. I am by no means a light sleeper, however the catch 22 of a boiling room with the window closed or constant drone of cars if open was unacceptable. This hotel should invest in better insulation being next to such a busy road and air conditioning. Would have complained to staff but nobody on the desk when we checked out so not asked how our stay was.

I would not recommend this hotel, low quality but this is not matched with a low price. How anyone cleaning that room would not notice the stench of sweat and do something about it is beyond me.

Staff were faultless, but the location of this Travelodge is terrible. The traffic outside is relentless at all hours of day and night. Based on that alone I would not stay here again.

The room was absolutely boiling, with no individual room temperature control, just a window to crack open and a small fan.

The rooms don't look like the pictures and are quite small. The TV's could do with being bigger as the ones supplied are easily 10 years old and you can barely hear it over the traffic anyway. A brand new 28" led TV is only around £100 now.

Mould on ceiling in bathroom too. Probably unavoidable as there's no proper extractor fan - just a hole in the wall.

No onsite food/café so spent 4 days eating takeaway which I would've preferred not to do, as it's impractical to prepare food and impossible to cook obviously.

30 minutes free WiFi is absolutely absurd in 2021. To be expected to pay £3 or whatever it was for 24hr is just ridiculous. Not a bank breaker by any means, just greedy on the part of the company.

For £60 a night the value for money isn't there. If I visit Liverpool again on business I'll go elsewhere or get an air BnB.

Stayed here for 2 nights, standered travelodge, clean and somewhere to sleep.
Julie on the reception was brilliant!! Very helpful and a nice friendly face. First time staying in Liverpool so we asked her some questions and she was happy to help!
We briefly spoke about travel in to city centre went and got out bags and she had found a local taxi company that she said is the cheapest.
We also asked her for some extra spoons so we could eat some ice cream from the convenient dominos that's is joined to the hotel and she went and found sone straight away without an issue.
Would stay again, nice and pleasant staff and clean room
