Close to city centre. Good breakfast. Basic hotel, but would happily go back. Car parking might be an issue, but I was on motorbike, and they let me park this in the back yard. Free wifi but this was a little slow at times.

Found this on Booking.com at a special-offer price (£39!) and checked out the reviews on Tripadvisor, and it's a real find. It's an unassuming-looking place from the outside, occupying two knocked-together Victorian terraced houses (the header picture as I write this bears no relation to the actual premises), but for a one-night good-value stopover it looked fine — and it...

Though the room is very small, it's really comfortable and the bed was great. Everything you need in the room- sink, dresser, hair dryer, hanging space. Shared bathroom- though there are 3 toilets for 3 rooms and one has shower facilities and it wasn't a problem. Staff were friendly and helpful; rooms cleaned beautifully- daily. Location was great- few minutes...

stayed overnight recently at this small but well looked after little hotel. The price was fantastic almost too good to be true so I was a little wary. Room was very good, en-suite etc etc. The breakfast was very good ( although limited choice ) and the service also excellent. I don't know how they do it.

Do not recommend the staff were unhelpful, Rude, and the hotel gives a creepy "the shining" vibe. All I'm saying is i warned you don't stay here, worst experience ever I'll be paying the extra buck to stay at a nicer hotel in future. Everything about my time in Liverpool was great bar this hotel.

Great breakfast, comfortable bed, pleasant staff. Room a little dated. 15 minute walk from the docks. Parking at the Mount Pleasant multi-storey a little further down the road, £4/day. Would use again.

<10 minutes walk from lime street and the city, staff were lovely and the cooked breakfast was generous and very nice. The room we had was a double en suite, small but very cosy and clean and everything worked. Ideal for a weekend break, thank you for looking after us so well. :-)

Nice hotel, close to the centre for walking to bars and all amenities needed. Room was nice but a bit of a mish mash of styles, nice breakfast. Would stay again due to reasonable price. staff were friendley and very helpful during our four night stay.

Ideally located five minutes from Lime street station. Small yet professionally run hotel with friendly staff. Clean and well equipped room. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. Plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend.

We had a triple room. It was just what we needed. A small private bathroom, tea making facilities, fridge, iron. All great. The staff were so friendly and we had a good bit of banter at breakfast as to who was going to win that day. Perfect position to walk into the city - very central. I would go back again.
