After a cold day Touring Anfield we arrived at Hotel Anfield. The owner was very welcoming and super helpful and directed us to our room. The room was lovely and warm and had two huge beds that were very comfy! We had a huge tv with access to Netflix YouTube and sky etc. we spent the night watching films and we ordered food in from kfc . We left early the next morning and was able to post the room keys in the secure early departure letterbox in the hallway.
The hotel as far as I’m concerned is an 11/10 and next time we visit Anfield we will be booking a room again.
An absolute diamond of a place and can’t praise highly enough 👍
Well done Hotel Anfield 👌👍👍

If you are looking for a bare bones hotel in a great location close to Anfield, this will be just fine. 3 minute walk to stadium and great atmosphere on game day with large crowd.

However, hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired, at least to American standards. Room was very cold- no thermostats or heater. We were freezing! Bed not comfortable. Very few products provided, including hand soap that was empty. No blow dryer provided in room. Hotel advertised luggage storage, but refused to store bags for a couple hours on our departure day so we had to spend £20 to store bags with a guy across the street (who was great). The shower was hard to get into (strange large step down into it), but the water pressure was great and water hot.

Overall, there are much better places to stay in Liverpool. If you aren’t picky, might be fine for a night or two to attend a game, but we regret booking here. It’s only a 10 minute Uber ride from the dock/city center area, and we wish we would have stayed in that area.

This property is perfect because of its proximity to Anfield Stadium. We stayed there the night before and after our stadium tour and it was just down the street. This property is great for Liverpool fans, as it is decorated with Liverpool FC memorabilia and the living area and patio are open to guests (think of it more like a big house and less like a hotel). Rooms are basic, fine for sleeping but ours did not have any seating. I agree with a prior review that you maybe wouldn't choose to bring the Mrs. here for a nice weekend, unless she happened to be a football fan like me :). We had a rental car and there was sufficient space for the guests to park for free. The best part of our stay was meeting the on-site manager, Bobby, who greeted us when we arrived and made it clear that this "house" was our house. He set up a continental breakfast each morning (complimentary) and manned the cash bar in the evening, between socializing and giving us advice for transportation to the city center (there is a bus stop nearby). He even put a women's football match that we wanted to watch up on the outside screen for us one night when we were there so we could eat our takeaway dinner and have our drinks outside where it was cooler. I do believe some of the less positive reviews may have come from before Bobby was living on-site, as we felt that he was keeping an eye on everything and we could have let him know if there were any noise/security issues. It is set up for hundreds of fans to come to the main level space on game day with outdoor seating and a huge viewing area, so be prepared for this if you are lucky enough to be there when Liverpool is playing. We learned that they also host private events on the main level/patio area so you may want to inquire about this when booking to see if it will affect your stay.

Placed literally a few minutes walk away from Anfield.

On a matchday, You can enjoy the atmosphere with a big screen as if you were in the stadium full of crowds.

Staffs are also very kind to foreigners like me and you can become friends with local fans grabbing a pint of beer.
I usually come alone but every time I've got new friends.

We can also enjoy singing, dancing(hopefully again soon)

And believe it or not, one day they got a signed my favorite player's shirt from the club for me!
What a surprise!

I live in Liverpool more than a year, and here's by far the greatest place I've found.
Definitely recommend.

Upon arrival things looked good, was able to park and head inside, from there things went down hill…as we checked in it became evident that our room had been given to someone else, so we had to wait for this to be resolved and then entering the room it didn’t look like it’s pictures and was not what you’ve expect for a £170 a night room. Nevertheless we got changed and headed out to the wedding just down the road from the hotel. Upon arriving back after the wedding it was not great, the room was cold, the bed a tiny double with a very uncomfortable mattress and a bed frame that felt like one wrong turn and it was collapse. To add to this we noticed a dripping once in bed, turned out it was from the shower that couldn’t be stopped, then as people came back in the early hours of the morning, everyone could hear them like they were standing next to you, paper thin walls so sleep was disturbed and same again the morning, once one room was up it was clear everyone needed to be as you could just hear everything. It was so disappointing, I was so excited being at the hotel as a Liverpool fan myself and loved all the tributes but it was like staying in a youth hostel when backpacking, which would be fine if that’s what it was (having backpacked myself I love that sort of thing) but at nearly two hundred pounds a night it was just ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend and will be looking for another place to stay on our next visit to Anfield.

Room Tip: Avoid if you’re expecting an £170 room to be what you’d expect. It’s not at all.

Awful! Would avoid this place at all costs if you love to sleep. Arrived in on Saturday night around 1115, bar still open and a few people still around. We had top floor room and could still hear music there. About 1130-1145 music went off and it was all quiet for about 15 minutes. The room next door played loud music, singing at top of voices, swearing, banging, running up & down stairs and slamming doors until 4am! Not 1 member of staff around, bar area all locked up! Tried to send txt to number I had but was undeliverable! A truly horrible, awful time. The music eventually stopped at 0415 to be woken again at 6am by shouting & swearing again! Avoid!

We cannot thank Peter, Gill, Danny & All staff at Hotel Anfield enough for making my mums celebration of life so perfect. They could not do enough for us, the marquee looked amazing. We could not asked for anything more off them, they certainly did do everything in their power to make our mums day so special. We had friends who stayed at the hotel and said how lovely their room was also. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for an extra special venue location run by an amazing group of people .

First floor family room was well equipped but could do with a lick of paint. Lovely clean bathroom. Great bar in the marquee in the back.
Fabulously themed bar and eating area for any Liverpool fan! With some great decor, memorabilia and murals.
Downside was the lack of breakfast stuff available, no cutlery and crockery and had to contact the site caretaker to get him to come and get more stuff out, as Apparently whoever should get the breakfast stuff ready hadn’t shown up!
I Would stay here again as it’s location to Anfield is great!
