Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village is celebrated by guests for its spacious, modern rooms boasting comfort and impressive views, although a few deem them basic. Its prime location is within easy reach of Liverpool's highlights, and the hotel's array of amenities earns high marks for both variety and convenience. The establishment's cleanliness and chic atmosphere are consistently applauded, with the friendly staff enhancing the welcoming ambiance. While the value is generally appreciated, especially for breakfast, parking and dining costs have raised some eyebrows. Service is lauded, with staff commended for their attentiveness, despite occasional mixed reviews regarding breakfast service.

We visit Liverpool fairly regularly and have previously stayed in the Titanic, The Hilton and the Double Tree, this is probably our new favourite.

We booked a studio for 2 nights with breakfast. We think studios have the corner rooms with 3 windows offering more space but also better views of the city. We asked for a high floor which was noted given we had been located on the top floor. Upon arrival you can pull in to the drop off area outside to unload luggage but only have a strict 15/20 minutes. Parking is located just a couple of minutes walk away and is £12 for 24 hours.

The lobby is very relaxed with lots of space and check in was quick & easy. When we returned after dinner on the first night we noticed a constant buzzing coming from what we assumed was the air conditioning unit. Reception sent someone up immediately and we had moved rooms within 10 minutes with minimal fuss.

The following morning I went down for breakfast which was excellent. Good quality bacon & sausage with plenty to choose from. Because my wife was getting ready for a wedding, she couldn’t quite find the time to come down for breakfast. I called reception and asked if we could have a bacon sandwich and a croissant brought up for her. Now even though we had paid for breakfast, I understand it probably wont have covered room service, and expected to pay extra. Reception however kindly arranged this with no additional cost and Its little things like this that can really make a stay.

The bed was extremely comfortable, shower good pressure, extremely clean and housekeeping even replenished waters and biscuits which we probably wouldn’t have expected.

In terms of location, it’s just outside the hustle and bustle which we prefer and everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful.

We are very fussy when it comes to hotels but this was faultless. At the price point I think its great value and we will certainly be coming back for our next trip.

Thank you for a wonderful stay

This is a brand new hotel in the city that I was lucky enough to experience for a night out in the city centre.

The hotel is well located on the fringes of the town centre, ideal for the university area or city centre hospitals and a 10 minute walk into the city centre itself.

Inside it is super clean, very modern and spacious. The check in desk is not really a desk but an open plan table, keeping the feel throughout open and airy.

The room was really large with an enormous super king sized double bed and a large walk in shower in the bathroom. Air con was set just right, there was an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities, and lots of space.

A special note to the staff who helped us on the day. Felipe and Rikesh were very welcoming on the front desk and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They helped to book a taxi and were very chatty but professional throughout.

Breakfast was full English with continental options too. The full English was well presented and cooked well, pastries were delicious and there were also several cereals that I did not try.

All in all it was a superb experience in an excellent hotel.

This hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and as a travel agent I have stayed in a lot. On first inspection the hotel was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and the Christmas tree at the front well I wanted to take that home with me. The room was easy to find and it was clean with a very big bed which was so comfortable. The bathroom had a rain shower in the big shower which was really good. I had a peaceful nights sleep on both nights I was there almost like the rooms were soundproof. Breakfast was spot on they had everything you could want for breakfast from pastries to full English to cereal. A nice selection of juices and I didn't even have to ask for decaf coffee as that was there to. My evening meal was out of this world and I would come back to eat here everytime now. I had the seabass which was beautiful. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant so you are not on top of others. Couldn't ask for more and will be stopping back here again in January.

We were greeted with a warm & friendly welcome by Amanda, she was so helpful & checked us in quickly & efficiently.
She gave us a Map of Liverpool & pointed us in the right direction for walking into the city.
The Room was FAB, Modern, spotlessly clean with amazing views over the city (we were there on 31st December so great to watch the Fireworks !!)
We loved the location, about 15/20 min walk downhill into Liverpool to the Shops & Restaurants etc (up hill coming back 😀 !!)
We prefer not to be in the city centre so found this Hotel to be ideal for us.
We were going to a Show on the evening & Amanda booked us a Taxi to take us - nothing was a problem !
The bed was very comfy & we slept well.
Breakfast was Self service, replenished regularly & delicious 😋
We were happy with the Multi-storey car park which wasn't connected to the Hotel but was only a building or so away from the Hotel
We would definitely stay here again, 10/10 from us !
There is a small Tesco Store about 7/8 mins walk away, which was handy if you'd needed or forgotten anything.
Thankyou to all the Staff for their friendly & helpful service (especially Amanda)

Stayed here in September and returned again in November for overnight stay for a concert. Professional staff and in my opinion my impression is the hotel seems well run. Clean hotel with lovely sitting areas and also a coffee shop. The bathroom is very nice and stocked with Ritual toiletries which is an added bonus. The bed was extremely comfortable also. Breakfasts on the four days in total I had was very nice indeed with a very good selection of hot and cold food which was always nicely presented. The only negatives I would say is that there is no drawers in the room to put your things in and our last room did not have a chair in it when we stayed this time. We did eat in the restaurant but found it to be expensive for the portion size of the fish and chips which we got. Car parking is about five minute walk away. Overall a nice clean well run hotel in the lovely city of Liverpool.

Fantastic hotel, good location. Rooms were very modern and clean. All amenities needed were in the room - hair dryer, iron and ironing board, fridge, safe, kettle and shampoo shower gel extra. The room was spacious with a large tv.

The restaurant had a good selection on the menu and breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice for continental and cooked options. Hot drinks and cold drinks were help yourself so no having to wait for drinks.

Fantastic hotel and fantastic service!!

I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times since it opened, I have previously been impressed by the cleanliness, good soundproofing, and lovely food. Not to mention welcoming attitude of staff. However on this occasion I had problems on arrival. There were hairs in the sink, a broken toilet seat, Foundation and lip gloss smeared over the air con control box, and the tea making area was filthy! Someone concerning just after Eurovision it looked like a party had continued and cleaning was too much effort. I politely and non confrontationally called reception and the response I received was a sigh. She then said she would send housekeeping up. I said I wished to change room. Again she replied this is what I’m doing. Housekeeping arrived and said they were there to clean the room. Again I reiterated I wished to move rooms as it was too unsanitary. Housekeeping replied I have no authority. Girl on reception called again and said she would speak to her manager. I was eventually moved and the male who checked me in ( and was extremely polite) showed me to my room and said I had a drinks voucher. He apologised as did I as I hate making a fuss. No issues with the room for the rest of the stay. On my return home I realised I left some toiletries in the shower which I know people will say that’s your fault. However on contacting the hotel they claimed the room was empty! So now I’m down £50 to replace them. They were either thrown away (or kept) either way transparency is appreciated

Hi There, Thank you so much for sharing your review , and highlighting the issues you faced whilst here. I am so sorry that on this occasion, your stay was not up to our usual high standards of cleanliness, and the arrival , and staff initial response was not appropriate either. We really do value guest feedback , which we use to help us make improvements , or put some training in place with the team, to ensure this does not happen again. I would really like some more information on dates of stay etc, so I can talk to the team in depth, and investigate the missing toiletries. If you could email me direct, I would love to have the chance to discuss this a little further . My email address is amanda.carlisle@accor.com. I am sure this was a one off, and I really do hope you can give us another chance, so we can prove this. Kind regards Amanda

The Novotel Paddington Village is particularly well located for the University of Liverpool, Metropolitan Catholic Cathedral and Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
The hotel was built a couple of years ago and is apparently the tallest hotel in Liverpool at 16 storeys which provides excellent views of the city.
A range of rooms are available including studios and disabled rooms.
The hotel has parking available at an adjacent multi storey car park.
The hotel is approx 35 mins to Albert Dock and 15 minutes to Lime Street station.
Room was of a good size and clean. Bathroom had a walk in shower with Grohe shower.
A very good breakfast was included in the price which was buffet style and with both continental and Full English being available.
There is a bar available as well as a coffee lounge during the day.
All staff were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

When checking in we received room number 315. However the keys weren’t working. Keys were for room 312 as our in the key holder which was pretty annoying arriving in the middle of night.
In room 312 hand wash soap dispenser wasn’t working. The next day we found a braw under the bed and other different quit disgusting things. Also the chrome cast didn’t work. We were then given a new room and some free drinks. Fine and the chrome cast now was working. However, again the hand wash soap dispenser wasn’t full. They told us it was a batch of mistakes from the deliver. However, they’d just forgotten to refill it. The following morning someone from the room service woke us up 7.45 because they thought we’d ordered four cookies. WTF?! There also was missing a toilet brush which is quit annoying as one can imagine. All in all just too many things not working properly.
