A nice, quiet hotel. Conveniently situated but away from the immediate hussle and bussle of the city and with free on-site parking.

This may seem strange but I particularly liked the attention given to the closing of the bedroom doors! They closed themselves perfectly and with the absolute minimum of noise; there is nothing worse than being disturbed by other guests closing their bedroom doors in a noisy fashion (albeit in complete innocence).

I particularly chose here as I was attending a meal at the Delifonseca Restaurant which is about 20 metres away and didn't want to be driving home afterwards.

Incidentally, I went to Delifonseca for breakfast in the morning. A few £pounds more than the breakfast box available from Travelodge but worth every penny.

Excellent value budget hotel, just a short bus ride or waterfront walk from the centre of Liverpool. Well positioned for the Yacht Club, the hotel also has free parking. All staff were very friendly and did an excellent job making us feel welcome, the hotel fully complies with government mandated Covid precautions without feeling oppressive. Our room was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed and a river view. The room was not air conditioned and did get quite warm even though the outside temperature was only around 20c, a fan was supplied on request. Hair dryers are also available on request. A refrigerator would have been nice but for the price we paid for the room we didn't expect one, so take your own 240v cooler (if you have one). Tea and coffee is provided along with a kettle and snacks are available from a vending machine in reception. The only thing stopping us giving 5 stars is that the shower had a curtain rather than a screen ( curtains always seem to blow around and stick), having said that, the shower itself was spotlessly clean and powerful. It's worth mentioning that if you like to pamper yourself take some extra toiletries as only hand gel and body shower/hair wash are provided. All in all a great budget hotel with fantastic helpful staff.

Booked this Travelodge for a convenient overnight stay following an event at the nearby Arena.
The Travelodge has an adequate and easily accessible adjacent carpark and check in was very efficient, so was very quickly in my room, which presented no surprises as it is the standard format and branding.
The location was ideal and allowed me to walk in to the city in the afternoon and to the venue in the evening. In between this and as time was running short before the event I did take the Mersey Rail from Central to the nearby Brunswick for only a couple of pound.
Being set back from the main road the room was quiet and allowed for a good night sleep.
I had booked room only for £54, which was very reasonable and much better than trying to arrange taxis on a busy December night.

This is my first time in a Travelodge and I was very pleasantly surprised. Kirsty, the manager greeted us as we walked through the doors with a beaming smile ~ what a lovely person ! Nothing seemed too much trouble, she gave us information about the area and things to do while we were there. All the staff we saw during our stay were helpful and polite.

We had chose an early check-in and were given the choice of a lower or upper floor room ~ we chose upper, as the lower only have a view of the car park. Please note the hotel has no lift so if mobility is a problem contact the hotel first. The view we had was overlooking the docks and River Mersey.

The room itself, though small, was clean
throughout, and had everything that you needed for a couple of nights. The bed was comfortable and the linen was soft. Though, as with most hotels, there was only one chair... for 2 people ? Plenty of tea/coffee etc with more easily obtained from reception.

There is no restaurant in the hotel, but breakfast boxes could be purchased and a small snack machine was in the foyer, but there is a restaurant/cafe bar just a minute walk across the car park with a delightful delicatessen attached. Both the shop and cafe were quite pricey, however there is a mini mart and a spar less than a 10 minute walk away.

The city centre is easy to get to, 20 minute walk, (with plenty of bars enroute if you go via red brick market 🙂) ~ or hop on a bus or train (there's a station less than 5 minutes walk). If you
fancy a more scenic route and don't mind adding 5 minutes onto your walk into the city, take the route along the river (highly recommend)

Overall I couldn't find fault with the hotel, even though they do allow pets I didn't see one hair or smell any animal smells the whole time we were there.

If you're looking for a cheap basic clean hotel, close enough to the city centre to enjoy, but far enough away so you can sleep, then I'd throughly recommend Liverpool docks travelodge.

Had an incredible experience. The receptionist Dot was so helpful and lovely and the room was spotless with excellent view. It houses near a bar/restaurant with a great selection and a shop that sells stuff for in your bedroom like drinks and sweets. It is about a 20 minute walk to the centre but a taxi ride is cheaper than 2 bus tickets.

Pleased with the hotel but the WiFi did not work despite having paid for it. The location is very good, close to everything and had lovely breakfast very near by.the receptionist was helpful and kind when he tried ringing on my behalf to sort out WiFi as I am deaf and he gave me a new remote control as the subtitles would not work with the original remote control. The Deli place and the restaurant is opposite the Travelodge which was great. Car parking was very easy. Lovely view of the docks and the surroundings was quiet and peaceful.

The Travelodge was a great place to stay worth every penny, and having Delifonseca next door was a real bonus. The food there was great and the breakfast very good. Good location for Liverpool and just along from the Albert Docks and the TATE. the cost to the docks by Taxi £3.50 and China Twon £4.50. We great a great deal about £65.00 for two nights will stay there again

Can't fault the recetion staff - each one we spoke to over the week was friendly and helpful.
However, the cleaning left much to be desired. We had to request replacement towels, toilet tissue, shower gel and tea & coffee on three occassions, despite the fact that we had left the replacement request tag on the door each day. The bed was never made and the floor not cleaned. The bathroom was not cleaned either.
We hung a long-sleeved jacket in the wardrobe and when it was removed the next day the sleeve closest to the back was coated in thick dust.
Considering we paid almost £600 for this stay it was appalling value for money. We have stayed in much better quality hotels for a lot less money.
I would not stay here again.

I have just left after spending two nights here. Yes the hotel is basic but its clean, the beds are comfy and I had an excellent view over the Mersey from my room.

You can very easily walk along the river from Albert Dock to this hotel. However, if you don't want to walk Brunswick train station is very close by where trains run at a 15 minute frequency into the city and beyond.

From the train station you can buy a £5.55 saveaway ticket that gives you access to all buses and trains across Merseyside for the day but to my surprise it also gave me access to the Mersey Ferry Trip at no extra cost...many thanks to the staff at Brunswick for the advice!

It was clean, modern with friendly staff and free parking. You can easily walk to the city centre in around 25 minutes or there's a bus stop 2 minutes away with buses every 15 minutes.

The only small issue was, one of the 2 rooms we booked was right by the reception and faced the car park which ended up being noisy very early in the morning with multiple large families checking out. So maybe ask for one of the rooms upstairs if you're a light sleeper.

Otherwise, we had a great stay and will definitely come back next time we're in Liverpool.

Hi, yes the hotel is just off the main road into Liverpool and just a short stroll to the nearest bus stop. Not sure what the bus numbers are though. Alternatively it's about 15 minutes or so walking distance to Albert Dock along the riverbank. Hope this helps.

I didn’t see one and there’s none on the website. If I’m honest, I wouldn’t leave a bike there it seemed too open! Try a hotel called The Ibis, it looked far more secure!
