A small hotel with character far removed from anonymous large city hotels. The bed was comfortable, the room warm, the location quiet but accessible for the city centre. The breakfast was freshly cooked. Tara the receptionist went over and above the call of duty to ensure that our stay was memorable. Ma Boyles around the corner was an excellent watering...

Tucked away at the bottom of Tithebarn St is the Liverpool Racquets Club. This is a fantastic place to meet over a drink/coffee/lunch and conduct a civilised meeting in lavish surroundings. The staff are attentive and when i go they always make me feel welcome by remembering my name and fave drink.

I don't know where to begin and there aren't enough words to describe this place! Phenomenal! The building, the interior, the bedrooms, the food and mainly the staff! From the very 1st second we came to look round to the lady one of us leaving on Sunday they have been amazing! Polite, friendly, helpful, organised, patient, fun and impeccable! I...

Historic building needs renovations for temperature. We had a business event and it was extremely hot !!!! Location is realy good. Architecture and decor very traditional. Somekind luxury. Old fashion.

The staff at this hotel make it very nice, plus Frank the office dog gave this traveller her dog fix. There were a few gripes, though. Wi Fi is only available in the common areas which they do advertise, but it makes it difficult to stay in touch with family (although some people may prefer this!). There are only 8...

What awful food. Food was almost cold and the chicken was so dry you could hardly swallow it. Best was the soup starter and nice piece of bread with it. The hotel need a complete upgrade. Furniture in bedrooms very tatty not just old but extremely tatty. Worn carpets throughout. Breakfast which cost £12 per head was absolutely awful. Sausages...

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was quite old fashioned but in keeping with the building. Bed was comfortable and the staff were nice too. The hotel is in a good location and if you're not having breakfast at the hotel I would recommend going to Ma Boyle's which is next to the church at the...

We stayed for one night as part of a wedding party. The location was very convenient for Central Liverpool, parking was very close by and the Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was large enough with a good ensuite, but the decor was faded, curtains dreadfully tatty and torn and although the bed was comfortable enough, the...
