Ok apt. Stayed on the lower ground floor. Since we had an oven we tried to fry eggs...DON'T ever try to do this in this room. The firealarm is for some unknown reason placef right above the oven... a guy i reckon was the janitor showed up and told us not to use the oven. Also the door handle to...

Looks great from the outside but inside it is lacking serious attention to detail. Most fittings (cupboards, toilet seat) are broken and the ceiling had a massive stain on it. Also the staff are incredibly rude and seem to make up added charges on the spot. Highly recommend avoiding this place!

Brought my sister down to Chelsea for a 1 night stay as part of her bridal shower. It took us a good 10 minutes to find someone to get the keys to our apartment as there seemed to be no one present in the building. Eventually a lady came out to us, got our keys and showed us our apartment....

Stayed in a lower ground floor apartment, after reading other reviews I was terrified of arriving in London to no accommodation during London marathon weekend. But all was good, not by no means luxury, but clean and adequate. Four girls sharing, one had to sleep on rather solid sofa bed, but we had no problems with water etc. Good central...

This was supposed to be a lovely one night stay in a luxury apartment. Upon arrival my partner discovered that there was no hot water or heating, there was a broken cupboard in the kitchen (which nearly swung down and hit him) and there was mould/damn on the walls and plaster missing from the ceiling. like everyone else had said,...

If you manage to get keys for the appartements easy (which happened) and you are prepared not to have any kind of service or help on anything you are ok. Do not book appartement A which is facing the road at ground level.(I slept with earplugs.) the size of rooms is ok for a short stay and the loc is...

I thought this was quite convenient nad suited my needs for 1 nights business accommodation. The rooom was large and clean with all modern comforts. It was a little shabby around the edges though. I booked this on short notice as the only hotels availble were charging between £300-400 and i got this for £170. Obviously there is no restaurant...

This place is a rip off and I would like to know if it EVER, had any hot running water, thank goodness we only had one night’s stay... On approach to the apartment I was a bit taken aback as to how grubby the stone steps were and the dirty windows, all dusty with grim which showed that they had...

I have to say after reading some of these reviews I was terrified as to what we would find on arriving at these apartments, if there was even any apartments booked for us but was actually pleasantly surprised! There were 22 of us on a girls weekend and booked 6 apartments, one of the party arrived before everyone else and...

Don't look at the photos, read these reviews. Apart from the location it under delivered on every count. Room damp, not ready when we arrived, small and then wanted to charge ten pounds a bag to store for a couple of hours on checkout.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.

“The family suite in the basement would be lovely in summer, open the patio doors and have a drink outside, only a tiny patio but how much space do you need for a glass of wine!”

“Having lived in London for 8 years I know that lower ground flats always have a bit of damp, so if you want to avoid that, just book a room that is on the ground floor or higher. Obviously a ground floor will have more noise from the street as anyone can imagine, but on the other side you wont have to walk up the stairs”
