This hotel is horrible do not book here. The pictures have nothing to do with the actual location. The room was dirty, bed full of hair strands, pillows were ripped, there was no hand soap, and overall appearance was unpleasant. The lights were all turned off when we entered and the building looked abandoned and we could not hear or...

Normally stay in hotels but decided to have a change. Loads of steps to enter apartment as third floor. Apartment good size and clean. Decorations a bit loud and ornaments strange but who cares only sleeping here. Sadly the bed is two singles pushed together and the bathroom has so mould in places Toliet tight to wall but all in...

The location was perfect, two train stations nearby and we found it very easy to get around on the trains. Kensington Gardens are at the end of the street, perfect for early evening strolls. The accommodation was clean and tidy, and the staff friendly. Would definitely return on our next visit.

I regret not reading the reviews before I booked. The area was good and the metro was nearby but the reception was 200 meters away from the actual apartment and this was not advertised on the website. The receptionist was unfriendly and did not negotiate an early check-in even if paid (we traveled over 24 hours from Australia) or a...

This is the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure to stay in. Dirty, smelly and staff who simply could not care less. When they say they supply toiletries they mean a piece of soap. Don't try to hang anything in the wardrobe as there simpky isn't room. Avoid this place. It is horrible.

Family of 5, including 3 mid teem to early 20's. Advertised as a '2 Room' apartment it would be that one bedroom for the 2 parents and the younguns use the other bedroom. Well no... it's one room where there is a mezzanine upper floor been added (badly) and 2 'double' beds on the upper parts and fold out bed...

Hotel should make their check in process clearer. Having booked this through a travel website I recieved no details that upon arrival guests have to go down the road to a hotel to check in. I clearly wasn't the only one as whilst I was stood at the apartment trying to figure out what to do several other guests arrived...

Being a family of 5 we struggle with hotel rooms and this was one of the cheapest but ok'ishly (is that a word?) reviewed properties in central London so I took a gamble and booked it via an offer with American Express. As other people have mentioned you need to check into a hotel further down the same road to...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
