Had a good stay at this hotel. Clean and inviting. The rooms were very clean and the situation of our room meant no noise. The reception staff weren't the most hospitable, but they were friendly when spoken to. Good location for all the things we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again. Good value for money.

I stayed in this hotel on a city break away with my wife, the hotel is centrally located to London's main attractions. The room was clean and staff helpful and friendly enough, I cannot comment on parking as we travelled by train. All in all a decent hotel and would stay here again.

I stayed on the 4th floor which is classed as "Business" (If you are travelling for work then try and sleep on this floor, it was exceptionally quiet which is what I wanted). + Friendly staff on reception on arrival. +The room was very clean and tidy - no issues with cleanliness at all. +The room was very quiet (road...

This has been a awful experience staying at this hotel as staff was very unhelpful. The food we ordered at the bar had to be cancelled. Train noise also disturbed. Room and showers was not clean enough.

We stayed here for 3 nights what you see is what you get, good honest information from Travel lodges website, so no dissapointments. The location is excellent just around the corner is the Tower Hill great access for tube and railway. to clarify the website mentions some rooms overlook the main road and are subject to noise pollution and we...

We needed a hotel near Whitechapel over the Easter weekend and Tower Bridge looked promising. Didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised at how much Travelodge have upped their game. From the complimentary coffee and iced, lemon water to well laid out and comfortable rooms, it made our stay very enjoyable and at the heart of where we needed to...

We booked this Travelodge as a base to walk around London and to watch a show - we did find this Travelodge a bit out of the way as we needed a taxi to get to the heart of London which costs a fortune- but the Travelodge itself was clean with friendly staff - our next visit thou we will...

you got what you pay. it's a nice location, only about 5 mins walk to tube station, about 10 mins walk (or even less) to the Tower Bridge, there are few bus stops around as well. a simple room, i will say it's certainly not a new building. more lighting and a good cleaning in the room will certainly help...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
